if you feel up to the challenge, FW Caldari is pretty brutal.
If you want bragging rights on Dust 514, get Caldari Loyalty level maxed out. (^_~ )

I'm not into PC. I hated being excluded pre-Charlie because "Assaults aren't viable".
Opinion ahead:
It's all just a bunch of people abusing any broken mechanic to win and stroking their ego afterwards. A waste of time for me. It kills the fun when the objective is to spam FoTM/equipment instead of using what you specialize in and enjoy.
On a side note, I think the simple fact that people enjoy having a clear advantage at all times is what kills the fun. Players lack diversity. CCP is not entirely at fault for the bad game balance, the players choose to abuse it whenever the opportunity arises.

If your gonna PC it's best to just ring for people because when your in a alliance you get in trouble ringing against them

Soraya Xel wrote:The biggest thing is that FacWar and PC have a more direct effect on the game. FacWar affects FacWar in EVE, and you'll see real EVE pilots providing orbital strikes. You queue for a particular faction you support, so there's a lore aspect too. PC has really no meaning for EVE, but is the high tier ability to "own" land in DUST.
I think there's a lot more we can do to make FacWar appealing to players. You should talk to rattati about corp battles. |

PC is just a mode for people to suck their own dicks in but I'll be damned if they aren't good at it. Seriously though, the only reason to play it is for bragging rights. Awwww, point to the area on the doll where PC touched you. Someone is a little sensitive. You can't tell me the only point of PC now isn't to be able to brag about one's corp having districts or otherwise kicking some corp's **** in during a PC match.
PC NEVER MATTERED TO EVE. Never. No connection was ever added to DUST to make the idea of PC anything more than a **** measuring endeavor. CCP never got that far before pulling the plug on development.
Give me the ability to actually control PI resources including moon goo ownership then maybe, MAYBE, It'll matter.

You can't tell me the only point of PC now isn't to be able to brag about one's corp having districts or otherwise kicking some corp's **** in during a PC match. Ever since the passive ISK was removed, there's not much gain to having a district, and usually having more districts than (members / 16) gets you nothing but condescending head shakes and laughed at.
Nowadays it's used for the simple sake of being able to have a match where you don't have to carry 90% of the team on your back. Generally, stronger corps tend not to attack the weaker ones in PC atm.

FW can be fun when its a q-sync vs. another q-sync but other than that its pretty stale and one-sided, similar to pubs. PC is way more fun imo. Everyone is in full proto, there is actual teamwork and tactics and everyone is on comms. The matches are also way way closer. So many games have been decided by one MCC tick or clone. It can be kind of stressful for those who don't like pressure/responsibility and it is very challenging.

More fun than pc because youre not losing millions of isk when you lose, you dont have to be there 24 hours after you attack, and people arent using cheesy tactics to keep an imaginary crop of land like lag switches, equipment spam, roof camping, vehicle spam, spam in general. |

Actually its awesome to be able to participate in matches where it's all on your group. There are not 5 snipers or 5 tanks or 2 dudes racing LAVs.
It's also nice to iron out strategies and see them work.
If PC's were the same as pubs there wouldn't be anything to brag about, now would there?
Thor Odinson42 wrote:Bragging and smack talking is just a byproduct of any competitive human interaction, it's weird that you haven't recognized that in your everyday life. I love how condescending you get with that. You talk as if I were implying that bragging was something unique to dust. Then again the reading comprehension I've seen displayed on this forum gets pretty bad so you just might have thought that as far as I know.
