That doesn't sound very Gallentean. Other than filling a hole, that sounds like Minmatar Tech. In DUST 514, where you (CCP) have clearly defined Rail tech as not being the purview of the Gallente soldiers- despite it being a hybrid weapon and goes great with my Myrmidon's 125Km drone boat- what makes a charged weapon with long range and spash damage fit the Gallente purview?
Charge up time would not be to amp up the rail mechanism, it would be to the time it takes to build the massive ball of plasma. The arc would be due to low velocity, because firing a ball of plasma of that size at high speed would cause it to destabilize and dissipate.

I can think of a few things, we are not done Rattati This is jack ive invested alot of time money and energy into the game and i was away for 6 months i couldnt stop my old roommate for i was not here he spent all my sp and i cant do anything now i barely can play in the battles cause of a disadvantage i know you guys do repecs my friends tell me everyday about getting them so why wont yall help me of all people.

Mode operandi is a bit weird enough as is that is almost a tactical version by default (though breach has its dna in it; the rifle is very much more capable of having a breach variant than a tactical one)

Would be like using a miniature version of the Assault Forge Gun.

What a shame CCP - you discouraged people who became interested by the dropshiping aspect of the game! Pity!
Lazy ADS pilot who would rather a respec than to go to the effort of figuring out how Rattati should fix the ADS.

This gonna be a salt in the CCP eye for a long time...
How is that salt in CCPGÇÖs eye? The nerf had the intended effect of getting the ADS community talking about how to properly balance the ADS. The nerf did exactly what Rattati wanted it to. Rattati was not underhanded or disingenuous about it, he said strait out why ADS were nerfed into the ground.
He also said that he would happily fix the ADS as soon as the ADS community came up with a reasonable proposal for how to do that.
Having a turret fire 50% faster on one weapons platform than on any other platform made it impossible to balance. He needed a different way to make the ADS effective, but the ADS community were not interested in helping. So he nerfed the bonus, which broke the ADS, which in tern inspired many ADS pilots to do the R&D to figure out how to make the ADS work again.
Sure it caused some ADS pilots to QQ and ask for respecGÇÖs, but I donGÇÖt really believe that those guys were real pilots. They will just go to whatever is most overpowered next and then QQ again when that gets nerfed. I mean, just look at how many people are using the Burst HMG since the Delta Nerf. I still use it, and a few other dedicated Sentinels use it, but most of the Charli Burst HMG users are now using the Bolt pistol. I am happy to see them go, and I would think that the ADS community would say good riddance to any pilots they lose over the Delta ADS nerf.

This gonna be a salt in the CCP eye for a long time... except pretty much the whole community loved the change only **** ads hate the change because now they have too acuttly have to use common sense and skill Steady, I know you are a lot more thoughtful member of the community than this. I do not enjoy being put into a whine category by virtue of being an ADS pilot with concerns. The balance is great, and I agree a lot of ADS pilots are moaning just because they do not have easy mode. I understand that totally. That being said, the Small Railguns do need a small tweak upwards. ADS RoF ideally should be 5% per level as 3% is a little low. So much so that ADS v ADS fights cant conclude as no one has the DPS to kill the other. The dropship ramming mechanic is totally unfair and also 100% bias towards armour dropships as they can always have more HP than a shield dropship. So yes I have a few concerns, however I am not bitching that swarms are powerful now or that I have to really think and fly to the best of my ability to do well. Just a little food for thought mate. I'm ripping on all ads dudes I have no doubt it will need tweeks, my issue is throwing all the toys out the pram proclaiming all is lost. It's not productive and helps noone. Basically I never aim my posts at a group skillful ads guys will be able to cope just fine but there not the ones throwing a full paddy here its cry babies who are upset they can't hover out in the open and farm dudes. final point you post like a 5 year old expect to get trolled by me =ƒÿà
Can we stick to calling out the posers? No need to insult the ADS pilots who are giving the issue actual thought and consideration.

To be fair, it is really just the posers who are crying at this point. The real ADS pilots have gotten over the initial shock and are now busily at work at their drafting tables putting together proposals for a reworked ADS.
