All Destiny is managing to accomplish is making me want to play Mass Effect again... and conning $60 out of me. I probably won't be buying the DLC expansion pass for it. Such a mediocre game...
Who designs a RPG with level up based on LUCK!?
They both suck.

I think you have your pvp backwards. with level advantages disabled and everyone on a level playing field, that is more skill than some nub who has grinded for hours upon end and simply has better armor and guns but not better gun game. I predict Iron Banner will be one giant fail.

This seems to be a common trend in most pvp shooter these days with bull shite spawns. Destiny has had its share of spawning me right in front of dudes for no reason. cod does this same bs and dust spawns are just as bad. the only safe place to spawn in bf4 is in your own base, otherwise, good luck. I will say one thing for destiny though, you do not get stuck permanently on a small pebble. |

If dust was on ps4, i would actually think about returning. Destiny is just blah. I prefer pvp. The pvp in destiny has wizards, robin hoods and teen titans. Seems too comic book for my tastes. Oh it is ok if you just want to jump in have a few quickies and do not have time to do otherwise, but if you have ample free time in the day, why on earth would you want to just have a bunch of quickies. I prefer longer games. MAG anyone( except for the occasional sabo stomp) Dust, Bf4. They each have their own niche and their own pros and cons.
The pros of destiny are my female awoken hunter and female human warlock look really hot with great big bazongas. Dust, is just meh looking clone.

More like the wizards are Biotics from Mass Effect, Exos are Turians, the Vex are Geth... most of the things in that game were completely ripped off of that game. Yeah CCP is just gonna try to suck even more money out of you than Sony, might as well not even play Legion. I'm probably gonna just stop playing both games and download Mass Effect from PSN.
no need to give up on them entirely. if you like sports, try some of those out. the new fifa is out, madden seems to have improved and mlb the show always delivers. the new golf game comes out soon as well. the lego games are usually fun as well. now that bf4 has been fixed, i have gone back to it and have been enjoying myself. oh i do get annoyed at times, but for the most part i am having a blast on bf4.

I am not a big destiny fan, however, you are clueless. Look at the amount of people playing the games. Dust is a ghost town and has been for some time. When a game only averages 5k online at a time, that is pathetic. Destiny is not having such low player counts. Fan Fest killed Dust long before Destiny even arrived. PS, Destiny is currently the most played online game at the moment. While I really do not like Destiny, I am a realist. The game is being played by gobs of people. Quit trying to fool yourself that your favorite game is the only game going and the whole world will soon be playing it. |

I have no illusion that DUST has a low player count. That's not the point. The point is that, that count is almost unchanged, despite everything. In a couple of months something new will come out and everyone will play that, Destiny will degrade to a small loyal fanbase and slowly fade away, but you and me will still be here discussing wether or not this next big thing has successfully killed DUST.
Dust is already dead. Fan Fest took care of that before Destiny was even thought of. Destiny's numbers will not fall even remotely close to Dust active numbers. Oh sure they may drop, that is to be expected. However, the catastrophic drop you seem to imply will not happen. There are just way too many idiots playing that game right now. I liken it to Cod and BF, incredibly high numbers playing them at the start, then the numbers go down. Yet even with reduced numbers, Cod and BF still have more folks playing them than most other games. Destiny seems to be in that category with the casuals gravitating towards it due to pve.
Personally, I am sick of Destiny. It is too repetitive and the pvp just feels crappy. I have already gone back to BF4. If dust were on PS4, I would actually come back to it also. I just can not bring myself to play another ps3 game after playing on the four. My three is now my netflix and cruncyroll machine.
