Let assaults and commando's be the same role. Take away the equipment slot from the assault suit, then they go about the slaying in 2 different ways... I currently have no problem with either of my commando suits...
Maybe increase movespeed just enough to take the speed above that of a fully tanked assault.
100% against any changes to bonus for increased AV damage... Blegh. |

One of my main fits is a Minmando with swarms and combat rifle. I run the advanced almost all the time, proto occasionally. These suits have very few slots so they are not very customizable. But the 1 thing I really miss on the suit is a grenade slot. I understand trade-offs for the 2 Light weapons, but given it's low slot count, slow speed, big hitbox, and lack of grenade, it is perhaps overly limited.
I'd be thrilled to see a grenade slot (and CPU/PG buffs to accommodate the grenade).

i am a commando specialist, i got proto amarr, proto caldari and proto galent commandos, to me the best 2 are the caldari and amar, people forget the commando is for high damage and suppression, that is how i fit my commandos, with the rite weapon combination u can lock down any area by your self as a point defender and push any are on offence. For example my amarr advance commando- enhance shield extender, complex armor plate and complex reactive plate with crw-04 sr and exo md with basic remotes, im getting my 10 % damage and lvl4 proficiency on sr im doing 22% on sr damage, i can go head to head with amarr and gallent at sentinel and destroy mins and caldari sentinel, with sr damage alone and if i have to run remotes when they follow and mass drive, i use the amarr commando for ground use only, caldari for av and cat walk suppression combat 2 damage mod complex, and reactive plates complex advance rail rifle (sb) with swarms, plasma cannon, mass driver, with quantum nano hives, i lock **** down, to use a commando at full u must have your cpu and pg at lvl 5, shields lvl3, amour lvl5(amarr and gallent ), damage mods lvl 5(benefit caldari and min better), nannos lvl 4 and weapons lvl 4 proficiency and fittings, i got 33mill sp that what it takes to get the full potential in a commando, and this is how u can buff them 1) base sprint speed about 2 or 3%, 2) increase mellee to 350 Racial buff 1)amarr 2 0r 3% reduction cpu and pg to all weapons and 2 or 3% per lvl. efficiency on armor mod per lvl 2)caldari 2 0r 3% reduction cpu and pg to all weapons and 2 or 3% per lvl. efficiency on extenders and regulators mod per lvl 3)galent 2 0r 3% reduction cpu and pg to all weapons and 2 or 3% per lvl. efficiency on armor repair mod per lvl 4)min 2 0r 3% reduction cpu and pg to all weapons and 2 or 3% per lvl. efficiency on energizers, recharges and regulator mod per lvl. with these buff you get cpu and pg buff and hp with out raising there bass lvl across the board |

I dont understand why they never allowed commandos to be good. They have always totally sucked, since the moment they were released. Let commandos be good for once, they deserve it - they've sucked for way too long now. |

I'd like to see a second equipment slot added on, they're "commandos" but really aren't packed for bear very well.

Because yeah, I can solo in a commando suit in a pub too. Curb stomping idiots is pretty easy to do.
I keep forgetting that people play pub matches. I haven't played a pubs like that for a good minute.
CCP holds the Caldari's hand so this doesn't happen again.

While there's usually someone helping me push or defend it's completely self-reliable.
