But just to give you an idea of how dastardly people can be throughout New Eden, take a look at this.

I've scammed as well in Eve Online. I placed a stupid order on the market one day and then forgot about it. Weeks went by while I was grinding away mining rocks in space when suddenly I got a notification on my wallet. I looked at it and suddenly I was 600 million ISK richer. WTF? Did someone actually fall for it? Apparently yes. Twice.
It came in two parts. Just one round of ammunition was sold for about 300 million ISK. Then just seconds later, by the same buyer, another 300 million ISK for another round of ammunition which brought the total to 600 mil. I was like "are you serious? How do you **** up twice in a row like that?"
Keep in mind that these 2 little rounds of ammunition (I think they were small anti-matter rounds) are worth only about 25 ISK per round in Jita which is the economic hub of New Eden.
