you heard it here folks, even if you win your name may actually be rejected because lore.
to those with non-lore fitting names... you arnt alowed to name it after yourself either.
this is why we dont have a "laser focused" laser rifle in the game right now

That's not even remotely the reasoning behind why wee don't have it. They can't even take it under consideration if it is never purposed.
it was an example, the reason weather it was proposed or not is in fact that it must be named in a particular fashion and fit within the lore of the eve universe
laser focused laser rifle does not fit and is not alowed.

if it does not fit this, its out. if it doesnt fit the lore standards its out.
this is EXACTLY the reasoning for why we CANT have a "laser focused" laser rifle and other similar inside joke based names.
its a PSA so that people who only intended to enter the contest to introduce such names into sidearms would be aware that their name will be denied if it doesnt follow the standard above or they cant convince them lore wise why a weapon should deviate from the standard above.
this standard has been confirmed as the standard by wich the names are held to. the only deviation from this would have to be some exceptioally wonderful lore centric argument that you can get them to agree with (because they arnt being mean by having things named like this, theres a number of valid reasons to restrict things in this manner)
i used "laser focused" as an example becuase it was the most recognisable and floated around the forums the most.
weather it was submitted or not is irrelevent, the point is that such a name would be denied

or some other deriviation. there is a precedence set for the second section being used to squeese in a basterdised last name.

there IS a lore based restriction, im assuming this applys to the trolly names and xXsaskeXx468303 names filtering them out in favor of names that actually make sence as names and wont cause any impending lawsuits or bad press
your name makes perfect sence, is a real name, doesnt use numbers or excessive caps, doesnt infringe any copywrites, and isnt offencive.
they could write your name into eve lore and it would fit seemlessly.
they couldnt however fit No0oBKill in lorewise and as such it would probably be rejected for not being "thematically acceptable" (real name i just pulled from local)
