The Operation skill. It is hands down the best operation skill in the game. It allows the Breach ScP to have 1735 damage per magazine, which is more comparable to the amount of damage a rifle would have in the mag. It creates a massive rift in the effectiveness of a Basic vs PRO ScP.
In really ought to be changed. But to what?
Better hipfire accuracy would be a waste. Less kick wouldnt be very useful either. It would end up being purely visual, with no real effect on operation. Ideally we should have something unique, something tailored directly to the ScP. ... Better Headshot Damage. Personally, I am a fan of +3% per level.
At level 5 Operation skill, the ScP would have a 431% headshot multiplier, rather than a 375% multiplier.
Headshots from ScPs would become even more deadly, but their magazine size would be seveley reduced. |

There's a different between reducing the effectiveness of the operation skill to something more in line with the other pistols/weapons, and crippling the **** out of the gun. |

Increase the dispersion because it is the best CQC and long range pistol, it shouldn't be like this as it devalues the power of the smg, and ion pistol. So increase the dispersion and kick and add a skill to reduce on of the two. Your missing the point guys. Your suggestion was basically "reduce the mag size". A straight up Nerf. I'm not advocating a Nerf.
Its just that the disparity between Basic and Prototype ScPs is too large compared to most other weapons. It also needs to be changed to something that is less rewarding of spraying, and more rewarding of aiming. |

I just want to change the skill into an equally useful, but easier to balance around one. But suddenly I started an anti-ScP mob.
The problem is that the skill just makes the weapon difficult to balance around guys. Not that the ScP is overpowered (it isn't).
Literally nothing should be changed but the skill. And the skill should still beretty powerful, because the gun has been balanced around a powerful operation skill. |

So increase the dispersion and kick and add a skill to reduce on of the two. i think you are mistaken the BP ia the best long range pistol The BP also performs extremely well in CQ but not as well as the Scrambler which performs even better than the ion pistol, which is why it is the best at both. I've heard the the Ion Pistol is the best at close quarters. |
