You're just going to have to adapt man. Try to find good sniping spots among the battlefield, rather than in the hills around the battlefield. These better spots will get you more kill opportunities. Risk vs Reward.
And yeah, sniping is going to become more of an active role now, you will have to take your eyes off the scope from time to time in order to check your near surroundings, make sure you don't have some scout planting REs under your cheeks. Alternatively, you could invest in passive scanning to give you a warning when someone is nearby, but that would require sacrifices in your tank and gank. Its up to you. |

If you were anything like a good sniper, you would've shout up and adapted by now instead of whining about useless things on the forums.

Now, using a sniper rifle will require you to make risk and enter deeper into the battlefield to actually contribute to your team. The headshot damage multiplier is now 300%, so you should be grateful. You don't even realize how generous this buff is. Lastly, it's 400m, not 300m.

40 kills with the most basic, cheapest possible dual-wielding standard Bolt Pistol fit...

I call troll. You don't even have to leave the redline to snipe enemy snipers off of that hill. It's under 400m from the hill beneath the friendly MCC.

Adapt or find a new game. I chose the second. Wish id done it two years ago. You can only adapt so many times before you you forget who you are. I do agree the rang nerf was a BAD move with the hp increase. Hardly ever sniped. You will see a lot less thale kills.
