I feel like the FPS are a bit too low at times, like when there's too much equipment on the map (hives, uplinks), and on the volcano theme, is there anything that can be done to give us more FPS? I put my settings to low quality but it doesn't make any difference...
40 kills with the most basic, cheapest possible dual-wielding standard Bolt Pistol fit...

As far as I know there's no way to avoid this.
Sometimes when it gets really bad a PS3 and/or modem reset will help.
But really, the game suffers from this when faced with lots of things to render like equipment, vehicles, or enemies -- and it tends to be worse in the complex areas of the map like the Gallente research facility (notorious) and the large city maps with 2 or 3 points in them and 2 on the outside.

I noticed when I've power cycled my modem and router as well as my PS3 (as in unplugged for 20 seconds) and then turning everything back on, the game runs much smoother.
But if I get Gallente Research Facility maps back to back, yeah it suffers.
Or if I play for 5 hours straight.

Once you've played enough Dust, you start to get used to it. |
