Can't seem to fire this thing nearly as quickly as other people. Is there any way to get the rhythm down or do I just have to practice?

Practice bro. I suggest timing your trigger pulls to the muzzle flash (last round flash) or pulling trigger every 0.5 second.
Be-careful of not holding the trigger down. (Used to guns that are full auto right?) That actually will mess up the firing pattern making it harder to fire. A quick tap, off(pause), tap Good Luck

SMG is still very good and very well balanced around each other IMO which is how it should be no one SMG being aggressly better than the rest. I think the 6kinSMG>IASMG and the Boundless breach is also very good not sure exactly where it fits in but it might be better than the other two. With a few small tweaks they could have the SMGs near perfectly balanced.

Use the sidearm you are most proficient with when learning a new light weapon. Once you know the ropes, then pick a sidearm that sounds the coolest when you shoot it. I recommend the scrambler pistol and breach SMG. |

I have been an avid user of the CR since it came out & have had no trouble firing as of late; however, when I do, its because of lag or a bad internet connection. But definitely keep practicing.

You have to change your grip on the controller to get proper cadence. If you're holding it normally the motion is coming just from your finger. It doesn't have enough strength or speed by itself. Play with a pillow under your hands and when you want to burst a volley shift your wrist up and come down at the controller using your wrist and arm strength to tap fast enough. But you'll still have to find the rhythm on your own. It's a quick series of bursts and then let off before it stalls. |

No. 1: do not fire it as fast as you can. The cr has a built-in break between shots, and if you spam it, you'll hit the break and get uneven rof. Try to force yourself to add a very small pause between button presses, and you'll get a nice, smooth, fast rof. Practise it against a wall. Also check out Saxonmish's youtube channel; he has a very good video demonstrating how to fire the CR effectively. o7

tap. tap. tap. die.
Just practice you'll probably get it. Honestly tho if you can't seem to get the timing right you might just want to try a dif weapon, find something that fits your playstyle a little better.
