So I was just thinking, we're not able to visit each other in our merc rooms, and we can't talk to each other (easily) in the war barge,
how come more people don't visit the Dust 514 space on playstation home? It seems like a good and fun way to meet new mercenaries (and have fun playing a game or two of Slay* )
Also, how many people have read Templar One? I bought it last night on impulse. I was looking for a good movie to rent and it was right there. I was like "whoa! a Dust 514 book? no way!!" So hoping to get a little bit more information on the mysterious Templar One (of which there is very little on the internet) I started reading it.
It is soooo good. The first half is really technical (I'm sure you have to play Eve to get it all) but there's enough secret dealings and political maneuvering to keep it from getting too boring. But then when you hit the middle part and everything starts coming together it was like playing a really good match on Dust!
Several things I've learned so far:
None of the factions are entirely evil (I found myself sympathizing with Empress Jamyl Sarum far more than I thought I could), and none of the factions are entirely good (yup, that means you Gallente). Also, even though I no longer support the Caldari state as a whole because I no longer support Tibus Heth, I am proud to be Caldari born and proud of all those who served under the Ishukone Corp banner.
also, Mordu's Legion? Total bad a**!
Anyways, if I find out what the 514 in Dust 514 means I'll let you know. but you should totally read this book.
and for fun here's the Dust 514 manual for you to download.
If you look closely on the cover page, the Caldari soldier has no thumbs or fingers gripping the gun. Lol. nice one CCP.

Trust me, you'll never find out the meaning. Ever, lol. Thinking whether or not to get Empyrean Age or Templar One....
I won't give up though... I'll even update everyone on what I find (maybe through a comic).
