TranquilBiscuit ofVaLoR Fatal Absolution General Tso's Alliance 2177	Posted - 2014.09.25 23:18:00 - [1] - Quote im fotm trash gal scout now tbh, the gal scout is just infinitely more viable for shotgunning, and im not really a fan of having to run 400+ shields because it's the only viable fit now. i love me some ewar and speed tanking, but it's pointless when i stack 2 precision on a cal scout only to see that every other scout can still avoid it with 300 armor and 200 shield to spare. oh well, i just gotta get with the meta in this game for once

Gallente from the beginning. Also started off massively using shotty and sniper. The only trash of the Gal scout is the trash using the suit and not being dedicated to a play style that can be aggressive or passive but still having think even through the stomps of leaving the academy straight into the 8th gate of hell. All FOTM is scrubs trying to rub every little bit of every playstyle, suit or weapon until the forum police decide to nerf it and raise a new king. Gtfo or wait until the next FOTM is something like the Min or assaults again. Playstyle: Scout~Passionate In-bred Sniper~Support~Enemy finder Weapon: Pro SG~SR~SMG~NK~ScR

Both have equal damps, but range is better than precision (which the Caldari Scout can do well with their amount of high slots). The only thing going for Gal are the number of low slots and being #MasterRace. If you're there for the slots, go Amarr Scout. If you're there for the bonuses, go Caldari Scout. Gallente Scout is their bastard child with the petty bonuses. Also, Bolt Pistol > Shotgun now.

While the assault should have less Ewar it should not be that bad, the changes that needed to happen: bonus changed to module efficacy so running only a single precision wasn't so effective, remove shared passive scanning. Cal scouts were often not willing to run more than a single precision so IDK why scouts complained as much as they did when they could out damp the 1 precision. Tanker/Logi/Assault
