Another Amarr weapon =ƒÿ¦ You'd think they'd be OP considering they're only effective on one suit. Thought I'd like to see the ASCR 10/-10 or maybe look at the cbr cuz that weapon is still extremely good whereas the ASCR has never been good. It's been decent but never good.

i can agree with altering the damage profile for the ascr alone never the lr it would make me to op..

Otherwise yes, every amarr weapon is either too good on the amarr assault, or complete crap without it. If all gallente suit can have inate armor rep due to reason of racial flavor, why not make the amarr suits work with their own weapons for even more flavor. It would make balancing the amarrian overheating weapons MUCH easier. Also it would reflect eve quite nicely. EDIT: Here let me expand on that. The overheat function of the scrambler and to a lesser extent, the laser operate as pretty much clips. Baseline you have a ` 15 shot clip in the scrambler and a 60 round clip on the laser. The amarr assault bonus therefor is similar to the minmatar assault bonus (clip bonus). It just extends the damage before reload (or the in the amarr case cooldown). Right now the scrambler and the laser have the lowest damage per clip/cooldown of ALL main weapons and less than quite a few sidearms. The only time when the scrambler has a decent amount of damage per clip/overheat is WITH the amarr assault bonus. Fixing swarms

Stacking armor is the current meta. Is it any surprise the rifle with the worst armor damage profile is the least competitive? We need to buff shield suits some (not a lot, but some) to make them viable in PC where armor stacking is the only way. Once shields become competitive, the ASCR will find its niche. Only the fitting costs compared to the CR kept me from using it more often. Now, though? It's utter crap. On my assault suit it might be OK I guess , but if I'm going to use that suit I'm going LR anyway. On my logi suit, it's totally ineffective as it overheats barely halfway through the clip! That might be enough to kill a caldari assault or a lightly armored scout, but against any other suit it overheats first. 100% useless. Calling it the worst rifle is an understatement: Flaylock-level nerf... to a weapon that wasn't even OP in the first place! It makes no sense. (The godfather of tactical logistics)
