The Saga 2 comes with a pre equipped shield hardener that has no cost for CPU or PG to be equipped
The shield hardener has a 60% damage reduction to shields but when added with a another shield hardener that does 40% there is no stacking penalty for running both of them when both are active you become immune to swarms of all variants so far with the saga 2 fit i been hit by 3 proto minmandos and receive 50-100 damage to shields then half a sec later insta rep the damage before the second shot comes in for a over half a minute you become immune to all swarms
Forge guns since they do more damage than your shield capacity you take damage you can eat a couple forge guns and eat one hit by a proto breach and remain with 80-90 shield Am i the first to realize this or what so far its the closest thing to a logi lav as you can get

What is the source of that, the built-in hardener not being affected by stacking penalties? That's a bold claim, need facts to support it.

Immunity is not possible. It doesn't work like that. It is not 60% + 40% for a total of 100%. Each module is applied individually like so.
(Example taken for 100 HP)
.40 GÇó 100 = 40
.60 GÇó 40 = 24
Or
100 GÇó .60 GÇó .40 = 24
For a total of 76% damage reduction.
Now, this is absolutely how it should work, mathematically. If it is not working so then there is a glitch or miscalculation (human error in input values) in the system.

Confirming that immunity is impossible through anything else than 100% resist module. Confirming the basic math of Son-of A -gun, though it can be written a bit easier to read.
Also, I bet stacking penalty exists on that, so
100damage x 0,60 x (0,40 x 0,869 first stacking penalty)
= resulting damage 20,856 (or 20,856% of original damage amount)

Also, we have to take that 76% reduction to damage and reduce it yet again to include the natural resistance of shields Vs. explosives damage (swarm launcher damage type), which is 20%. So, the final total percentage of damage reduction should be:
24 GÇó .8 = 19.2
Total damage reduction = 80.8%

And on top of everything, the last time I checked the Saga II did indeed have ++berstrong hardener BUT it had relatively short online time AND huge cooldown of 2mins or so.
People would enjoy Dust a lot more if they accepted the fact that EVERYTHING is subject to change

Dunno if the stacking is a bug but the saga ok has had the 60% hardener always, even after the nerf. Nothing new there.

The saga II was ment to be able to break into a enemy line during it's hardener period to provide a quick hack or some support. Then GTFO before the hardener was done.
Over 50 Million SP and almost full proto in all Caldari Suits. No matter how hard CCP tries Dust just won't die on PS3/4

Cool fact, the original shield animation was the old forge gun animation. It looked really cool when activated. CCP couldn't use the normaly hardener animation because it would keep the gunners from being able to fire while active. Wait wat..

I spent a good deal of time looking for screen shots and video of forge gunners to see if I could find it.. but it use to be a rainbow colored star that would leak out of the gun. When I found that out I purchased 400 Saga ][.. two weeks later they nerfed the LAV and removed the trolly rainbow trails.
I think they nerfed the car because the resistants was so good that you could park in front of tanks to block them from shooting.

methana currently does fine without any active management.. complex scanner recommended.. i can plant proxie and troll around the map to see if it's worth it to call an incubus, or refit for a jihad. maybe get a mass driver kill, drop a link or 2 and then the proxies go off.. i cross my fingers for a multi kill in the feed.
