Scrambler Rifle overheats quicker now than before Delta. I am skilled to 5 in Scrambler Rifle Operation & in Amaar Assault, & now only able to get off 19 rounds before overheating!!??

the most i can manage now is 20 when actually moving about and 22, 23 when concentrating on nothing but shooting, cant really remember what i could get before. shooting is still smooth as butter though which is all i was hoping for, oh and barrel climb is allot more pronounced when ads shooting as fast as pos then what i remember it to be.
lets just burn this motherfucker down

I know that after firing till I overheated, before Delta, I would have from 12-14 rounds left in the clip & that was before I skilled to level 5 Amaar Assault.

1. RoF was reduced.
2. Heat builds up per second
Therefore, if you fire at max RoF, you will now get fewer shots before overheat.
This is 'working as intended'. It only really affects turbo users and people testing in the redline. In the heat of combat virtually no one can sustain 600RPM manually. |

On a non Amarr assault I used to get 17 shoots before overheat. Now I can only get 14 shoots. Before this patch many times I killed someone the killing shoot would overheat my Viziam which means now I will overheat before killing them.
A good shot can still kill most scouts with a Viziam but some mediums and most heavies have too much hp and armor.
The ScR has always been the only rifle that relies on It's sidearm. For every other rifle the sidearm was a backup but for the ScR the sidearm is often mandatory just to kill a target. Now with three less shoots this problem will be more prevalent.
Gun control is not about guns...it's about control.
The only way to ensure freedom is by having the means to defend it.

What level are you skilled to, both with the Scrambler Rifle & Amaar Assault?

I am going to test this again but I am pretty sure I can still get the same number of shots off. I didn't personally notice the RoF decrease. As lets be honest, hitting max RpM is actually a lot harder than it first appears.
I am pretty sure in general use you can get 20 ish shots off before overheat, If I use both hands on my mouse and click furiously like I am playing a good old button bashing game I can get I think 25 shots off before overheat (and please bare in mind I have to use both hands to achieve this, there is no way I can aim / play normally and get this many shots)

Yea I actually tested my clicks per minute with my mouse on a website and I was surprised to see that with general one hand clicking I was only getting 300-350 click per min. With furious clicking I managed to get I think 400-450 clicks per min.
I am not sure if things are different in game as I am damn well sure I could max out the 500RPM of the old tac AR quite easily so I dont know what's going on.
If anyone else with KB/M wants to test how fast they can click, go and google how fast can I click, or something with words to that effect. The web app was on kongregate website or something.

Thats really bad. I can average above 10/sec pretty easily, and I'm well past prime gaming age. |

Actually Ive done 700, manually. The problem is the lack of some players ability trying to impose there limitations on everyone else as the standard.

Fellow SCR users, the heat build up is per seconds of usage, try to time your usage and report that time, not the rounds. It should be per rounds, but it isn't. So to show the weird **** about heat build up, (I agree, it is odd and fluctuates lately) you need to time your usage. |
