Before this patch I could fire an average of 17 shoots before overheating with a non Amarr assault suit. But today I could only fire 14 shoots before overheating.
I checked all the patch notes and nothing is said about an increase to heat buildup only that it's ROF was reduced so what gives?
Also, fuk each and every one of you mode controller asshats for contributing to the nerf of my favorite weapon.

Only the RoF nerf has been stated.
There might have been the unintentional side effect of reducing the number of shots fireable before overheat, though, because IIRC heat buildup is based on per second usage rather than per shot.
The forums have ruined me.

Hey I have just been testing out my templar scrambler.
They changed RoF down to 600rpm = this was intended and its fine. You can still absolutely spam shots off trust me. EDIT - I was using Templar assault so I had level 5 Amarr bonus. There might well be an issue with the weapon on other suits, I will try it out.
They decreased hipfire slightly and tbh I didn't notice a massive penalty so that's ok.
The damage of the weapon has been reduced however to 65 (On the Templar Scrambler it was more before) and I could not find any mention of this happening, so I think they have done this in error.
They also accidentally nerfed the RoF of the Assault variant so they need to fix a few things with the scrambler.

That fuking sucks balls.
Heat buildup was already a ***** to manage and now with three less shoots it is going to be more trouble than it is worth.

Just a little worse at fighting multiple opponents at close range which it isn't meant to be good at in the first place.

I only fire enough shots to break shields, then switch to my trusty SMG. It got nerfed but it actually feels better with the improvement to hip fire. |

I can still fire the same amount of shots before overheating. I, uh, i don't use a modded controller through so my finger isn't the best at doing a steady flow of constant shots. |

65x14 910 910 damage before overheat. Many Assaults can take that and live, especially if they are Amarr or Gallente. Taking out ANY (even militia) Heavy frames is going to be damn near impossible. Nerfed into the ground lol. Headshots aren't required to kill on any of the other rifles. Why should the ScR require them?
For comparison, the other rifles can do upwards of 2000 damage before they have to reload.
Nerf the AR to a 27 round mag, the CR to a 33 round mag, and the RR to a 17 round mag. That would make it fair. |

Tried it today with my ak.0 assault and I also noticed that it overheats a bit faster, more if you charge a shot. It's stupid because charged shot were what made ScR a skilled weapon, now they arent worth it anymore...
Sorry for my bad english ^^

Ok thanks man, oh damn! Its the first time I have looked at the stats in a while. Oh well 65 is reasonable for standard tier I guess.
