charge: perfect due to high damage and headshot bonus,small clip and shorter range and limited ammo, makes it a skill weapon unless ohk'ing scouts
Tactical: sway prevents it from being viable, but it is great for commandos who cannot catch their prey.
standard/thales- great middle ground for the two above, after awhile i believe people will start to despise the charge more than the thales. I also like the removal of the thales zoom it balances the gun and for me it makes it easier to find a target without quick scope'ing in multiple directions.
Scope: love it the lines on side let me know if i need to adjust my aim up or down when following a target left to right(vice versa) while the line in the middle helps me see if i need to move left or right to line up the shot, and the dot is small enough for pinpoint accuracy without obscuring the targets head.
However the dot can be lost to blue'ish/gray'ish backgrounds.
And due to the range decreases most of my favorite spots are no longer viable/possible

the dot glows red haven't really noticed if the wings change i have a twitch finger so the opportunity to notice such things is slim.
the dot is very small and when trying to drag it over a enemy that has a blue/gray wall behind him you can lose its location if focused on him, i've found it easier to move my scope ahead of them and time my shots.
i have had trouble finding what i deem safe locations while still being in range and having a good vantage, so if using a charged i would recommend at least one complex dampener to get under enemy vehicle scans.
or be a scrub like me and park a tank/ds by you, keep in mind i only use the thales professionally, the charge and tactical was just me testing them

i never use jeeps due to their flimseyness, I park a tank beside me using it for cover from enemy snipers, and i use a ds if i'm landing on a roof i never leave my vehicles unattended due to blueberry thefts (my tanks are 300k isk so yeah) so i don't know the range at which they are considered abandoned

the point of the range reduction was to help eleviate red line sniping and the main culprit was calmando with charge/thale.
charge got range reduction and thale had zoom removed
