I am not an ADS expert, but from what I know, this looks like it is on the right track.
I primarily agree with any damage bonus being put in the turret tree. I donGÇÖt see a functional reason that would cause the ADS to need to do more damage than a LAV, or the Door Gun on a standard Dropship.
I do have one general question which may be relevant to the discussion. Do Small Blaster turrets have enough range to be effective from an ADS? If not, then a range bonus for Blaster turrets might be useful, as it is a lot easier for a LAV or HAV to get close to infantry than it is for an ADS. (Although, I admit I have seen some pilots who make it look easy.)
If Blasters were effective from an ADS then Gallente would have a high rate of fire anti infantry weapon (Blaster) and the Caldari would have a splash anti infantry weapon (Missiles). Then have them be equally effective with the Rail Turret which is primarily AV.
Of course, now that I say all of that I realize that reducing Small Blaster Spread would be like giving it a range buff, so I guess I agree with the OP on that point.
I am skilled into ADS by the way. I just canGÇÖt hit the broad side of a barn with a nose turret, so I canGÇÖt provide much in the way of personal perspective, other than be amazed at the abilities of some of our more successful pilots.

Regarding the suggestion of increasing (with a bonus) the splash radius of a Small Missile Turret to just under the slash radius of a Plasma Cannon, there are a few things to consider for perspective:
- What is the rate of fire of a Plasma Cannon vs a Missile Turret?
- What is the splash damage of a Missile Turret vs the splash damage of a Plasma Cannon?
- An ADS is almost always firing at a steep angle, while Plasma CannonGÇÖs only have this advantage when on top of buildings and such. If you miss a vertical shot with a splash weapon, the shot will likely hit the ground near your target and catch your target in the splash. If you miss a horizontal shot with a splash weapon, the shot will continue past your target and impact a wall or the ground well behind your target, well out of splash range. You can aim for the ground at their feet, but on a horizontal shot the target areas that will allow splash damage to apply to your target is a thin ellipse, while from the air this target area approaches a circle. This is why the Small Missile Turret is considered more effective on Dropships than on LAVGÇÖs.
