For blood and violence...
Perhaps I'm just blind, but I've never noticed blood to even be a thing in Dust. Was it removed or something, or is it just so subtle that you have to squint to see it?
Pointless question is pointless, but... curiosity demands it!
Nova Knives are best sidearm.

Every time you get killed you get blood splattered on the screen and blood flies out of the figures when shot.

Pointless question is pointless, but... curiosity demands it! I like the fact Dust isn't very gruesome. I don't mind a bit of blood and guts as a dramatic moment, as in a story mode. But when it's part of the basic functionality of an FPS it just becomes so repetitive that it's a bit weird, and makes me think there's something not quite right with the people who made the game. Some graphic finishing moves in the Killzone series come to mind. |

Not to mention that it opens up the game to a broader audience that way.
Same reason movie producers often try to come in at PG 13.

Ah, KZ3 brutal melee kills... I hear ya though, it gets excessive in a lot of cases, but the rating is there on Dust and I've just never noticed anything to justify it. It's not a necessity, I'm just wondering if it even exists in the game.

I recall it being a bit more prominent in the past. Maybe they dialed it down at some point? It was never crazy, but it's barely noticeable now.
