Judging by the pipes... and structure... absolutely nothing can be discerned. Nothing in CCP games have a logical structure based on the shape, or function. If they did the space ships would have engines on the sides of the ships so that they could turn, being there is no atmosphere to allow rear thrust to be guided by wings, such as conventional airplanes...

Mmmm... exhaust still produces thrust, and a gravity drive would tear apart the larger ships, as the materials used would have to be so sturdy that plasma based weapons or explosives, even of a super nuclear state would have no effect. Weaponry would be useless effectively.
Gravity drives do not work next to each other. You would literally pull all ships in a region into one node. Hence battles would be nonexistent.
