I want to fight in some maps at night.
Just imagine fighting in a mostly dark environment lit up which is lit up with light or plasma, would be pretty cool.

Yep like Tech Da Ra said, there was a night mode. I only got to play a handful of times, but it was nice and eerie. It seemed to intensify the matches. Would love to get that back.

I would like that too but not just dark but really pitch black. With flares raining every minute or so from both MCCs.

Yes, exactly what I imagine.
A sniper on overwatch would be able to see firefight due to the muzzle flash, night vision would be awesome too. Slight illumination here and there.

There are already (90% sure at least). It's just [lore] your suit's optics amplify the light around you so you can see better. [/lore] Typically the darker, bluer maps with the amazing starry skybox.

There is already night time... it's just... well... those god damn nebulae are lighting up the entire map.

If we had night maps I'd have to take the SMG off all my fits. Muzzle flash on it is already almost enough to make a non-epileptic have seizures.

I remember the dark night maps. Had to pump up the brightness a ton.
All we had to aim at was chevrons. Nobody could see anything. |

I can tell you with experience that you don't want night maps. They were incredibly dark and you couldn't see a thing.
