I just have this idea. Scout dont have proper role of reconnasaince on battlefield. Mostly what we see right now is packs of stalkerish speedy assaulters. And after time what i spent on forum i bring this idea.
There is really big thingie about enemy chevrons seens through walls and corners. Im actually not a big fan o seeing enemy through walls withou any active sensor. What about put normal pasive scaner on somekind of echolocation/sonar system?!
Thats mean everything is seen just on open places nothing behid walls or corners without active scaner gadget.
BUT
How we know recon/scouts role on battlefield of today is mostly unseen report and intel. What about implement on recon class LOSD (or more funny LSD ) system on every scout suit for EWAR purposes and for proper roleplay too?!
This system will project on friendly squad screen enemy chevrons even if scout and enemy will be behind any kind structure dependly on level of suit of scout. Shortly it will Share the Location information seen by the scout to his squad (this even will push people to make squads in battle, than now prefered "lonelywolfing").
What do you think boyos?!

Nope i mean passive implement for scout suit. Active scanner is fine, but i though implementation of role for scout without any active scanner. Basicaly right now, we can see through wall without scanner.
My idea is, leave passive to opens spaces (no behind corner/wall/structure). And implement LOSD in to scout suit like passive.
Basicaly if you will be in one side of structure and enemy on oher one behind, you will not see them. But with scout on other side you will unveil enemies chevrons, because he will have LOSD on himself.

I know i have problem with explanation in different laguage.
Right now we can see enemy through walls. My idea i leave concept of out tacmap just like Sonar/Echolocation kind. Whats mean enemies chevrons/location will be seen only on open spaces (not behind structures/corners/walls).
And there will be place for scout and his reconnasaince role of LOSD.
Basicaly you sqaud cant see enemy behind walls without active scanner, sout here with implemented LOSD can unveil chevrons on your screen just by running near to enemy.
I trying to find a proper intel/recon role for scout with implementation Of this device.

Just get rid of passive scans. It'd weaken the scout and strengthen the scanner. Give the scout a scanner bonus instead of the Gallente Logi, give them something a bit more useful... |
