I've got 3.5m on my tank alt (Faceless Fascist), Prof 2 Rail, Complex shield w/ optimization 2, Shield Regen 3, Core Upgrades 3, Duration skill at 2 (obviously nothing in Cooldown skill as it requires CU 5). Armor skills only at level 1 (Armor Upgrades and Rep amount skill), Blasters only at level 1, not even close to running anything above STD missiles form the CalFW store.
What would you suggest I spend my 3M SP on - in other words, where should my priorities be?
My current fit as suggested by another tanker is 2x Hardener, 1x Complex Light shield booster, Particle Cannon, a plate and a CPU mod. My Party tank runs two small standard rails with 2x CPU mod to make the 2x hardener and complex light booster fit with the Particle Cannon.

for you tank... 2 hardners is hard to fit for me and I doubt you have gone that much into armor fittings so I suggest balanceing your tank out. Nothing unique I mean shield boosters and all on maddys are not recommended by me.
Put a basic plate a basic Rep and a basic Hardener. that particle cannon has ton be knocked down to a accelerator or a basic rail. Tanking is to expensive right now for almost no reward.
Try to run your party tank more often with squad mates only with a gunnlogi Just basic main rail and basic small rails. Put at least one rail damage amp on (it will apply to both large and small) and some shield mods I personally prefer a fuel injector. One armor plate and a rep is needed even if its in the 60mm lvl Aye, I threw the Omega on last night.
It is a hard fit (the 2 hardeners) - I'm running the Enhanced, but still need the CPU mod(s).
I DL'd the vid and paid attention to the fit - I noticed the lack of shield mods on the Gunnlogi. I'll give that a shot (armor tanking with a fuel injector) tonight after I get my 10 match quota on my other toons.
I really need to get the skill for the damage mods trained up. They're too hard on fitting at MLT level.

DELB0Y wrote:I watched that vid and the guy was in a glass cannon in his redline acting like a little poossy. Not impressed, I'm actually embarrassed for the guy. If any new tankers are watching this vid please don't play like this guy, he sucks and didn't help his team mates one little bit in that game. Sorry to be harsh. They didn't make him.
I only saw one hostile tank in the killfeed - that blaster Maddy. And he took it out. With the exception of one Gunnlogi finished off by an ADS, he destroyed every enemy tank fielded. They didn't force him to come away from the homepoint redline by killing on the other side of the map, so why should he?
He DID chase the one Gunnlogi behind the city a little bit, before being distracted by the forge gunner (and subsequently losing his rail tank).
If they wanted to kill him, the enemy tankers should have drawn him out rather than rushing him at his own end of the map bent on revenge. They didn't think it through, and they paid for it.
EDIT: They could just as well have left him where he was and ignored him if he didn't come out to play. Rather than **** on Panda for staying near home point in the red line, criticize the enemy tankers for being idiots.
