Instead of giving Scouts the best of both worlds, why not split the current scout into two separate suits, one that currently has the combat ability of scouts, but reduced to a single equipment slot to the way it was, reduce eWar detection while retaining current dampening to.
The other suit would be more of a logi variation of the light suit, providing eWar detection with reduced dampening but additional slots and cpu/pg to improve it's support role. Speed slightly lower on the support with additional eHp to compensate.
Assault Scout would have Assault-like abilities while giving the cloak bonus (and maybe pass the scanner bonuses over to this class and give Gallente something a little more useful) over to the eWar Logi Scout to compensate for their lack of dampening.
Not sure if this is a good idea or even possible in a hotfix, but I thought it might improve on the current lack of light suit variation that we have with mediums and heavys and also reduce some of the strength of the current powerhouse that is the scout. |

Just a few thoughts, not saying my idea is the best, but a thought, considering how powerful eWar is coupled with speed and eHP regen. |
