DUST 514 is really a one-of-a-kind game, I love DUST.

Through all the ups and downs CCP has crafted an FPS with character progression, risk and reward, balance, diversity, and squad/team play that are all on a whole other level than anything else. The guns, equipment, and dropsuits in DUST complement each other perfectly, and each weapon is perfectly, uniquely imagined. We take it for granted, but we should appreciate what we've got here. Go play Destiny and see how the PVP compares. Frantic CQC day and night. Jet packs whoopee!!

No other FPS has weapons with the variety of ranges, damage profiles, handling, and well...character to compare with DUST. No other FPS has such a variety of roles, with each race having a unique spin on that role. Hunter, Warlock, or Titan?? Puh-lease!!

No other FPS has ever been iterated on, refined, and balanced nearly as much as DUST has since 05/13. The game has evolved like nothing I've ever seen.

I dearly hope that CCP can keep this game going, even if they have to move to PC (PS3's dying anyway), and continue it's amazing development, because DUST is the fine wine of shooters. Yes, the graphics are a bit outdated, the performance (if you don't have a solid state drive) is not great, the lag suuuuuuucks, the weapons and vehicles are incomplete, the sandbox is very limited, there's no cooperative PVE, and the NPE is brutal, but CCP listed all those things as reasons they're moving to PC, so they can protostomp all those nagging problems.

In it's sphere, EVE is The Game. Nothing else compares (if that's what you're into). People who haven't gotten into it Just Don't Know. DUST is becoming the same thing for shooters. Don't give up CCP!!

It is one of a kind. And with the recent hotfixes finally giving it the life it needed a long time ago, it's actually fun. No other game has challenged me greater than Dust and no other game has frustrated me more than Dust. I played Watch_Dogs not too long ago but then came back to Dust. I play Halo 3 and Super Smash Bros Brawl with my friends every weekend, but then focus the rest of my week playing Dust. Something about Dust just keeps me coming back for some reason. It's not the fact that I invested my time already or the fact that I don't want to biomass my character. It's something else. I don't know what it is.

The thing that keeps me in DUST is that with other games getting to the end game is fairly strait forward and it won't take that long to reach such as destiny, but in DUST there is no end game and you can always unlock new suits/ weapons when you get bored and it gives progression a meaning

I lost it at "balanced". I agree, it's unique, but it pisses most players off 90% of the time. Especially the new ones.
Destiny is ok, it has PvE, PvP, and a WORKING AND NOT ANNOYING SNIPER RIFLE. But that's just me. I think Destiny isn't worth 70Gé¼ though. Much less with the amount of content they give, but hey, we have to wait for the other 10 DLC's Activi$ion's going to release for... 39.99$? Who the f**k made those DLC's!?

It is really just how much room you have to be bad. In a loose game like cod you can be poop and still get kills in this game if you make mistakes and solo a lot your going to have a hard time.This game rewards strategy or piloting assault drop ships so if you like to solo that is prolly a good bet.

It is the reason that they will add some pveish content in P:L so it will be a bit more forgiving to those that don't want to be farmed by ads every time they play a match.
