Can there be a small shield around the gunner or something that will soak up some damage before being shot at? Or at least something to give improve this issue. Because last time I checked, LAVs were light ASSAULT vehicles. But sadly they are failing to do so as the gunner is EASILY a shot off the vehicle thus failing to suppress the enemy. My ideas are to give the gunner seat a 250hp shield or to add plates around the legs and on the gun mount to make it look like an fun on a modern day humvee. These should provide less cover for gunner, but any be destroyed unless vehicle is blown up.

Your only supposed to put heavies on turrets. A high tank with a rep.
LAV turrets need better stabilization and rotation to really be useful, i agree for improvements there. Otherwise, just think of it as some futuristic third world technical vehicle,
Long range sniping with a rail turret for open maps with clear sight lines
Blaster turret for cutting off troops in the open both open and CQC maps and the initial rush to the objective at the start of a match.
After AV starts ramping up just recall, you won't get many opportunities after that,

Who said heavies are SUPPOSED to? And even, still they can quickly be taken down, nova knives, plasma cannon,snipers. Or just a hole lite of people shooting home at once. If rather use the heavy with an hmg than to put him in the back. Vehicular then leads to pointless lavs.
