...I bought aurum again. $5 worth, to be exact. With it, I purchased an active omega booster. Consider it a tip for all of the hard work CCP Rattati, CCP Logibro, and CPM1 have put into the hotfixes.
Depending on how hotfix echo and foxtrot looks I might even go back to buying 30-day boosters.
Let me be perfectly clear: I still don't trust CCP. Hell, I wouldn't trust CCP Rouge with a half melted Hershey bar. I do trust Rattati and Logibro though.

It's fine, you should feel fine and there's nothing wrong with it.
Oh I'm not going to lose any sleep over it. It's $5 well spent as far as I'm concerned.
Especially with the matchmaking update. I haven't been completely stomped since it rolled out. I've lost matches, sure, but I felt like I was being pitted against players of my skill level. I earned that loss, it wasn't thrust upon me. It was a good time.
