So you're giving swarms more speed, You're also lowering the ISK price of the ADS. Consider a small eHP buff to the ADS ? You deliberately said " Pilots will now lose more dropships than ever, hence the lowing ISK price " I propose give them an eHP buff or I can assure you, flying an ADS will now become a frail memory.
First reason being is I also saw where Rattati had stated that with Proto Swarms and 3 Dmg Mods, he could not take out anything.
- My Rebuttal being is Taking out vehicles is a 2 or 3 man job thusly a team effort and should be. No one clone should be able to take out a vehicle, barely take one out ? Yes. You didn't say you were with anyone when trying to take out the ADS. If you were with someone, you possible would've taken out more than the ADS.
[*] As for the eHP bonus I am asking for, is due to the ADS getting bombarded 24/7 literally by AV. There just always has to be that guy on the field with a damn Proto Forge Gun. Thusly flying an ADS Takes a well amount of training and about 20 or 10 Million ISK to compensate for the crashes of both the ADS and the normal ones for beginners. Give us the eHP Bonus !

I support this.
I have tried flying my vehicle ALTs drop ships for profit.
Transporting, operating as a light gunships, recon, etc,etc.
It seems impossible to make a profit unless I'm facing complete newbs or I try to save my arse every other minute and hide.
It seems impossible to actually make a profit and function properly.
I'm not on about ads, just the regular and the Myron as I spent beta using armour based ads/ds/tanks. I can fly absolutely fine as well.
I really can't imagine the ads being much better but the lack of slots puts me off so I'm not even giving it a try, screw that. Well actually the newbd up version we have of vehicles in general now has put me off them almost entirely.
My most prized mods are my 12 last mlt torque turbines.
My washed is brain 2 much, prayz jebus!.

I am a terrible pilot, I cannot make money in the current setup of the game flying DS/ADS, that being said the info on how DS and ADS perform has been reviewed by all members of the CPM (including our resident pilot Judge) and the current changes are being made with our input in mind (to be clear input does not mean "CPM decides what happens" but these choices are not being made randomly, purely anecdotally, or in a vacuum).
Numbers and effects will of course be reviewed once the hotfix drops and has the chance to produce some measurable data/effects. Now again, I nor the rest of the CPM, do not decide how things go but I would be surprised if there were further tweaks to this specific hotfix so late in the deployment cycle.

The ADS is much quicker and more maneuverable than a standard DS. Add that to the RoF buff you get and you have a flying death machine that can easily destroy twice its worth in drop suits every match.
As to the OP's proposal you should perhaps look at Rattati's graph showing swarm impacts on ADS over time. It clearly shows that because of the current swarm speed it is impossible to hit a DS with more than two vollies if the pilot is more aware than a pet rock.
Under the new system swarms will have a chance of killing an ADS if the pilot does not start trying to evade once hit with the first shot. Notice I said chance of killing the ADS? This is because the swarms still have a 400m range, which can easily be exceeded by an ADS. Additionally since swarms are getting a boost to their speed they are also getting a nerf to their turning radius so you'll be able to get them to crash into buildings more easily if you're savy with your avoidance.
It really seems like there is a huge knee jerk reaction occurring here among vehcile users, which I understand since you feel like you are being attacked, but realize that this is part of the larger attempt to balance the entire game and not a personal attack. Lets all take some time to really think about what these changes mean, and see how they play out in the game before we start screaming for the Dev's heads.
Now with more evil.
