Whoa... So I check my email couple weeks or less, and happened to find out I must have upset someone with a thread of mine. I may have worded things wrong or you may just weren't smelling what I was stepping in. All I wanted to attempt to say is I think CCP is doing a good job. I wasn't around in the past and don't know you all's history and wasn't even speaking of bitter vets and the ups and downs of this game. I was merely speaking of just plain negative comments left in threads of any nature. More of a " cheer up people, lets just have fun", type of comment.
Anyone that knows me IRL knows I would offer help to my worst enemy, So I feel I must have made the mistake by wording something very wrong and gave someone the wrong impression. I am sincerely sorry if I upset someone as that is not the type of person I am.
I noticed that Dust is the thinking mans shooter and that many players are old men like myself. I come around here to learn more about a game I like enough to play the hell out of, and possibly meet like minded individuals to play with and further enjoy my Dust experience.
Again, I'm truly sorry for stepping on toes, but Giants have big feet. I'll watch where I step from now on or if you want to ban me, go ahead. Its not like I'll stop playing Dust, I enjoy the game far too much for that. |

Its not like you told us you were "Laser focused on the PS3" and then decided to eventually ditch us for PCs.
I will still stab you if I see you, but that is nothing personal.
Hope to see you in a knife fight someday then. I wont take it personal. Im sure I've made my share of people rage when my knives bathe in their blood.
Crap I think I screwed something up. I'll search before I ask someone to explain alliances. Was trying to set corp up for my kids and I. I got a few people addicted to Dust as well as they got some of their friends and dads. So if you see blueberries out there doing super noobish things I'm partly to blame. Either way I guess I just booted myself from my corp. Nothing personal dudes. I'm a stupid noob too and I'm gonna have to look up how to mess with all these channels and alliances and such. If you can't find anyone for a full squad send msg. I've enjoyed playing with the few people I have. |

I've enjoyed playing with the few people I have. Pretty sure your noobishness is not so OP that you are responsible for all blueberry noobishness. I have been around long enough to know they acted like that before you got here. Join the "Learning Coalition" chat channel. They are a group of mercs and corps that help people figure things out. Their thread is HERE. Either way on the forums, the Rookie Training Grounds section has good info that you can sort through. We will get you sorted out.
I've spent plenty of nights laying in bed reading all the stickies and wikis and what not. I'll figure out chat channel when the boy gets done playin.
Let me ask you, during the million clone event it is only 10 games through entire event right? I plan on playing my main character more than that, but as long as my kids gets 10 matches in through weekend he'll get the SP bonus too? |

Some dude must have reported me. It must have been an autosent msg. I just wanted to make things clear because I like coming to the forums for info. I really didn't mean to bother anyone as much as I apparently did. Don't want the community thinking "hey that giant dude's an ass" I'd hate for it revoke my posting privilages. |

BTW it is hilarious watching my kid play right now. He's running into enemy redline to hack their turrets. He hacked it and was almost back out of redline but it killed him w 6 seconds on timer? Oh well at least he's not hiding in own redline. I'm gonna feel bad when he gets out of battle academy. |

Huh, we might be neighbors. You see a crazy old man wandering around in the woods one day it might be me. Don't shoot unless its in game |

Here's a guide. http://www.alphadictionary.com/articles/southernese.htmlLike they say in Georgia, "When in Rome, Georgia; do as the rest of 'em do". P.S. My personal favorite is Bag. Bag: n. A milk container with four spigots that hangs under the rear end of a cow. For example: "Did you hear about Katie Belle? She wuz amilkin the cow when somebody rolled a hangernade under it and it went off!" "Lord a-mercy! Was she kilt?" "No, bless Patsy, the cow was; Katie Belle was jis left holdin the bag!" I'm actually from the "Cornhole" of Georgia myself, I imagine you can guess what county that's in. Never did much care for the ATL though, too crowded for my taste; but I did do a bit of electrical work on the congress center & the dome (not good work for a man terrified of heights, fcking scissor lifts).
Oh, I won't go to ATL. I get irritated just getting close. I'm not really a people person and even more so towards idiots, and ATL is full of them. Doesn't help I got a giant F350 that just doesn't fit well in traffic. I like my space, I like mother nature. Nothing I need in a dirty concrete jungle.
BTW if you really like the city life I'm not putting it down its just not my thing. To each his own. |
