Not trying to hate on Saxonmish, but his CalScout is very easy to counter. All you need to do is trick him into thinking that you can't see him. To accomplish this, turn your character to where you can only see him via peripheral vision. This gives the illusion that you're facing in the opposite direction, so he won't be able to tell how aware you are by looking at his radar.

Then, when he's about to start sprinting, rip him open with a CR. He'll then begin to strafe around while firing at you with a RR, so use the spool to your advantage. Since he has to pre-spool before firing at you, dipping in and out of cover to shave some more HP off will work wonders. But you'll need to do this in quick succession, otherwise the CalScout's low delays and 50HP/s will kick in, causing you to start from scratch.

He won't run, because if he knows that if he does than you'll be able to cut him open faster than Cat Merc downs a fresh can of tuna. Though I was using 2 Damage Amps on a MinCom, so your results may vary.

Why hate on him when everyone and there brother are scouts or heavies. How many players are true slayers (assaults) Regnyum and I.. Any others?
By this I mean you stick with assault no matter what spam no matter who you play against. I'm sick of people saying they're assault players but when they go against someone decent they pull out a shotgun or hmg..
Don't call out 1 player when 95% of the players do the same.

I play almost purely assault, tank if it's a PC, logi if it's a good map and outside of that I slay as an assault. Also didn't ReG go Cal Scout when it was OP though I suppose he ran it like an assault and assaults were UP as hell, I have recently seen him using a Cal Assault in a PC though.

or you could just get good and don't worry about what other players are doing. seriously your complaing about a scout with a rail rifle. he is a good player but he can be killed with a little skill and gun game. so you have to ask yourself is he super good or are you just super bad.

I have like 3 million Sp, and I use starter fits.

Assaults were REALLY broken for a while, one less slot than now of course, and the real kicker, weapon bonuses not applying. Scouts were basically compulsory for assault players in PC.

Do people actually think there good by stomping new players with officer gear?

I wana see a 70 and 0 youtube vid of someone in adv gear, now that shows skill. Im not qq I really wana see this. Oh wait I was under the illusion that people in this game actually posses any clout.

If your putting up good kd in a scout not much room to brag its easy mode when you can see everyone around you and what direction they are looking.

I think people that post these vids have a serious hunger for attention and acceptance. Play the game nobody cares how many kills you can get in easy mod.

I used assaults when they were extremely UP obviously not in PC but I know what I'm talking about.
