I lost more suits than I have ever lost in a night, and I didn't kill a single dropship, nor a tank. One time I swear the ADS wagged at me as I launched the 3 death swarm, turned around and blasted away and came back to kill me.
Admittedly, not the best AVer out there, but, it's not only about not being able to kill vehicles, it's all the times I am trying to chase a double hit dropship or HAV, and get shot by any other infantry. Militia swarms being a threat is class A bs.

A ridiculous free suit shouldn't be able to do anything to a million isk vehicle.
There is a thing called value to consider.
Now, had you friends helping out or god forbid a forge gun you would have killed all of your targets. And had you played commando you would've been able to fight off infantry threats and drive away vehicle threats.
So don't use a free suit and expect value. |

It's true, I didn't. I'm so used to reading blather that I read the top line, then read the bottom line, and assume everything in the middle is stupidity. I like to give Rattati the benefit of the doubt where possible, but he did mention militia's so I assumed he was attempting to justify a buff across the board. That would be a mistake. |

It most certainly would.
This would be mostly commando work.
Getting my old capture stuff ready and finding a decent twitch server. Been a while, but I'm making sure everything still works properly. |

Tanks require trickery to kill or two swarmers. ADS requires poor piloting or synchronized shots between two swarmers.
Both can be effectively denied by a single incompetent swarmer, however.
Give a forger the right altitude, he will kill anybody. Which is fair because its difficult to set him up.

More fun to do that with a forge. Especially when you shoot your own dropship by accident. |
