They were under an NDA... you know what that means, right? It's one of the conditions they must agree to in order to be CPM officers. They couldn't tell us about the Legion announcement. Period. That doesn't make them untrustworthy.

I'm going to agree with you on the complete lack of information regarding Legion. That does not instill confidence in the players, but this does not mean that work on Legion has been halted.

"3-4 years of Dust and Eve" translates to "one person's anecdotal evidence". If you have a source that can be quoted saying, 'Development on Legion has been slowed' or 'Legion's development staff has been cut in half' or something similar then link it. Otherwise, no one will believe what you say.

Tech I agree with your points perfectly valid. However that nda is the very thing that makes cpm a poor sauce for info because it means any info is on a time lag or cpm have to plane make stuff up. And or ccp is out right not keeping them informed.

Sadly iv been burned to many times we got told lots of things for dust where coming and never did. Legion matches this pattern hook line and sinker. It's up ccp to prove it's been worked on not the other way round.

Put another way the only evidence we have legion is been worked on is somthing a none ccp member said on irc. Which is about as valid as me saying it's not been worked on. Expect my argument has more weight as noone can show me ANY evadence that it is to prove me wrong.

CPM is meant to push our opinions and feelings as players to CCP, not be a source of Dust 514-related news. Sure, they sometimes end up being sources of information, but that's usually by accident. Soraya Xel has said as much.

No, actually, your word vs. a CPM officer's word are two completely different things. CPM talks to CCP, directly, on a daily basis via email, conference calls, Skype, etc. Your "argument" has precisely no weight on the topic of "Is Legion still being worked on?" Theirs does. I'm 100% positive the NDA prevents them from being able to tell us what exactly is being worked on though, which is sad.

If you want to confirm this just ask a CPM officer. I have no doubt they can confirm it for you. Don't ask for specifics because you won't get that. Specifics will need to come from CCP. I would watch Eve Vegas and Fanfest 2015 to see what they have been working on exactly.
