Yup good ol' times. I feel some sympathy for the console purists our there, but the fact is they are a minority of gamers nowadays. It's my sincerest hope that Legion is launched successfully on PC then, sometime later, CCP develops Legion for PS4. By the time they reach that point console gaming may be on it's deathbed so who knows. Also, Legion will most likely be F2P on PC so you won't have to "buy it" at all.

Console Gamers to be the Minority... I Have been Playing MP since late 90s. and I know a lot of MP Players and Groups all around the World... Except of games likes DOTA most of the Player groups i know Switched to Consoles... It's not about the Money, it's about convenience...
Legion launching on PS4... It'd be a fail most likely... I don't think CCP can keep up from a Performance point of view

I can't reason with you so I'll just say this: every year consoles are trying, desperately, to become more like PCs. Think about why that is. Do a little digging; be open to the idea that consoles are an antiquated technology and embrace your place in the Master Race.

I have always owned Great PCs and Did a lot of tourneys.... Don't have to teach me about being part of the Master Race :)
Consoles are Just fun... Laying down in your Couch chilling, smoking and drinking and shooting stuff at the same time... |

it doesn't give the Same feeling as a Controller... Besides, to me it's more challenging to aim and shoot with a Controller |

Pain in the ass is not limitation. It is, actually. It's called Return on Investment. When it makes more business-sense to put time into the easier platform to develop for, you do it. They are I guess not upto the challenge as FPS Developers... They Came to Compete in the Console World... They showed promise, we supported them, then they gave up... Logibro and Rattati have done some great PR work and Damage control after Fanfest nightmare by the French guy... But there's only so much damage control they can do.. I can understand your point, it makes sense from a business point of view to pack up shop and change platform and keep making money by these random meaningless SP events and Booster Sales... Destiny sold 500mil + in 24 hours... So i'm guessing Console market is the worst place to invest huh ?! |

Destiny was made by a AAA developer that already has a huge name in gaming because of the Halo franchise. Plus, Bundie did not released it for PC on launch. This forced many PC gamers to buy the console version when they would MUCH rather have the PC version. I'd be very interested to see the sales numbers if they had released it for PC as well as consoles on launch day. They also did an amazing job on Destiny. It is the exception to the rule. PC generates a better rate of return for companies than consoles do. Here is a short gamespot article on it.

Consoles have always been the Leapfrog tablet of the gaming world for kids. That is the only reason they will stay around. Computer gaming is for the big boys. I'm sorry that some adults can't realize that.
let's Say you have Super hot Girl over... Press the PS button on your PS4 and Everything Turns on the way you'd want it to. Let entertain her with the New PS bots and the PS EYE and have some fun.. Can't exactly Say, "Hey check this out, it's My PC..."
She'd say, "You don't even have a Laptop ?!" LOL
I have nothing against PC, i have my happy gaming PC... But i don't go around calling Console users Morons... Some people are just too backdated i guess... |

A Terran Republic max picnic at the vanu warpgate for sure.
As if players like you would be able to shoot without the AA lol ... If CCP completely takes out the and Increase the Controller Sensitivity by 50% then i'd be happy... After playing actual FPS at Full Speed... This feels like a Slo Mo drunk version of a Not very decent FPS... lol |
