Whenever I try to play DUST, the frame rate not hitting 30 is making my eyes hurt.
I need like an hour of adjusting to the lower frame rate before I stop noticing it.

30-60 I barely notice the difference it's when games dip to 24 fps I begin to note something wrong.
120 vs 60 I do note a 'smoothness' difference but anything above 120 has no notable differences.

Just shooting your gun at something is extremely fun in Destiny.
Epic large scale battles and intimate small scale battles both have their place. (Or somewhere in the middle with DUST)
Also, it's 6v6 or 3v3, depending on the game mode.
Or in other words, it's not about how large your battles are, it's about how you use the numbers you have :P

It just feels less smooth than it used to. Gotta love that lack of FPS drop in Destiny. Really wanna try it next gen now.

You haven't had "slowdown" yet?
Large scale battle on the moon (out team of 3 + another team of 3 + enemies + buildings) had my ps3 momentarily reminding me of my old SNES days with Gradius 3.

...get a PS4. They tried jamming way too much down the PS3s throat with that game, graphically. The PS3 is strong, and can do a lot, but not that much. |

+1, must agree. Destiny's writing may be lacking but the game's foundations are rock solid. Those controls are like a drug for me.
And with the foundations they've set, Bungie is now in a position where they can do anything they want with their game - hopefully that involves injecting some meaning into it.
