There is a difference between harvesting & killing. Killing purely for the sake of sport is a waste of resources. Where i am, wildlife are consided state resources owned by the people of the state & wasting state resources is illegal. If you don't want to keep it for yourself (begs a bigger question, what do you have against jerky?) you can always donate the meat to a local food bank. Turn ypur killing for fun into providing for the poor.
There are senior citizens whp regularly eat cat food as their sole source of protein, just saying.
Have you considered a career in costumed aggression?

A deer got into my garden this year. Ate most of most of my plants. BEST deer jerkey I ever ate. My kids ssaid it was better then store bought. The animals are here for a reason....

I think if everyone who ever wanted to eat meat had to actually kill the animal themselves before they got to eat it..... yea half the world would turn vegetarian over night. I know I would.
I think I would be ok with catching and killing fish.

Not even that, if people knew where their food even came from they would prob turn vegetarian. There's a doc on netflix about eating vegan, and they show some graphic stuff that goes on in animal processing facilities. Gave me even more motivation to hunt. |

A friend of mine was out with some guys on a hunting trip, and one of the guys shot a porcupine (I guess just to be a jerk or something).
My friend made him eat it. 
Hand/Eye coordination cannot be taught. For everything else there is the Learning Coalition.

I heard of a former Vegan who now eats meat, but only the meat of animals he has killed and butchered himself.
