Get your god damn asses back into the game now!
You know who you are! All of you high forum levellers out there. Go, make yourselves useful and go and shoot something in game instead of shooting posts on the forums! :P

Onesimus Tarsus wrote:I really have almost quit playing. Battlefield 1943 is a better shooter by leaps and bounds, and GTA4 has tons of things to do, not to mention the mini game I created, "get four wanted stars and drive til you die and see how long you can last" (I'm still working on the title).
Dust is insufferably boring.
Na man Dust isn't boring per-se. Though I have noticed since I lost touch with both of my previous corps and the players have slowly left the game... (First Anonymous, then Acme Special Forces) I find that not having a good corp of friends to play with turns this game into pretty much most other FPS`s.
Its fun for a while but without meaning, without a good corp to be a part of, this game isn't no where near as fun as I used to think it was. And that right there is the crux of this game. It is a very social game. Things all matter a lot more when you have this feeling of achievement with your corp / alliance mates.
Running solo in ambush is good fun for a while but it soon gets stale. I join public squads most days but they really dont carry that same sense of 'teamwork' that working with people you really know gives you.
Running solo is hard work in more than one way.

You as well! You're another one, not quite as forum savvy as the Great GJR / IJR but still a high ranking forum wizzard for sure.

Feels like no one I recognize is playing dust at the moment. Seriously, just get BF1943. About 85-90% of the games I play there are tense and involving, as opposed to about 10% in DUST. Forget Destiny. Forget PS2. They don't "beat" DUST. DUST isn't good because DUST never became DUST.
To be fair mate, I had 3 or 4 bloody intense games earlier VS a handful of Nyain San dudes in skirmish.
I really was trying my dammed hardest in my templar gear vs the proto scouts and yea I died to them more than I killed them for sure but it was actually great fun.
