Welcome to the Destiny Megathread! The main purpose of this thread was to categorize and organize all the thread in the Locker Room about Destiny. I also pulled some comments that I thought were valuable to someone deciding on whether or not they should pick up Destiny. The posters and comments were only from the first page so I encourage you to explore the threads to view more comments (popcorn optional).

gbghg - Enjoyable, best next gen game. Recommend hardest difficulty. PvP is okay. Lore entries were reacted during beta. Gear is cross between Borderlands/traditional MMOs. Overall very enjoyable. (Super condensed. Recommend reading his entire review.)

A'Real Fury - Enjoyed. Graphics and sound effects were good. PVE is solid. Destiny Forums are set up badly.
True Adamance - Very very pretty. Sound track was also nice. Solid and whole game.

Great idea you had here op. two thumbs up. Personally I find the AI in Destiny to be better competition than the average blue berry or red berry on dust. There is a reason, most of the players,(not all but most) are from the original top corps are over on destiny now.
If someone prefers, dust, then I have no problem with that. Everyone has their own idea of what appeals to them personally.
There is no such thing as a perfect game, except for maybe MLB the Show 14. So nitpick away Dust fanboys and Destiny fanboys. Im a gamer and prefer to try multiple games, case in point, I still play BF4 and KZSF in addition to destiny, mlb the show,fifa, and madden. |

Like the little summaries on the thread where people talk about how they felt about Destiny. Besides that, your effort would probably be more appreciated collating feedback threads on the Destiny forums.

PvP is disappointing to me. Lots of instakill weapons floating about, feels cheap.

I hated the PVP in Destiny Beta and havn't played it since. Dust kicked the **** out of it....
However.... even tho I want to play Dust atm I cant. I played one game last night (1st since Destiny came out) on my favourite map. As soon as the game ended I had to log straight into Destiny... The PVE hooked me. Just as well because Raids are open now!
The PVE is also why I downloaded Dust in the first place... I saw awesome videos of robots vs clones and... well I STILL want to play that Dust514.  
I'll be back tho... if Dust is still around then. |

There's a new event on Venus allowing up to 6 players in a fire squad but it is set at Level 26 and I am only light level 24. YOU LITERALLY NEED ALL 6 PLAYERS FOR THIS EVENT, THEY MADE IT TO WHERE YOU CANNOT SOLO!

Well you don't NEED to be lvl 26 but it's gonna hurt if you're not. Well, it's gonna hurt even if you are.
Of course I could solo it with my lvl 13 space mage though.

Waiting for my bundle to arrive any day now. I did start playing dust again about a month ago because a friend of mine was playing. They have all moved to ps4 and destiny. Dust is more fun with friends and i imagine so is destiny. Oh yeah. One hilarious similarity between the two is this whole 10 year plan.... HA!  |
