Or the swarms need a huge range buff. It's ridiculous when I see my swarm volley vanish after a couple hundred feet wtf is that about. Any good DS pilot has an after burner which means swarms are pretty much usless against any pilot who isnt a complete moron. Dropships should have to lead the volley of swarms into an obstacle if they want to avoid it.
By the way I fly a python and I still find it to easy to avoid swarms unless two or more team up, which is ridiculous its a missle launcher you should only need 1. Thats all it took to take down that Malaysian plane. |

They're nerfing the cooldown on afterburners by like a factor of 400%. Dropships will still be able to escape, but do so far less often.

They're buffing your swarms so they can now fly into walls and ****... The next hotfix will be filled with you people complaining about how easy it is to fly behind cover making your swarms useless again.
Also thanks for calling me a moron : ) I have several builds that work without afterburners. |

Put them on the redline at the spawns and AI only so no one can camp them and you've got yourself something moderately useful. |

Thats all it took to take down that Malaysian plane. 1. Your swarms most likely did not disappear. It's more probable that they continued to chase the dropship until they expired or hit the dropship. You should be able to tell if you hit them when a red "X" shows up on your aiming reticule.
2. If you knew anything about swarm missile's tracking, you'd know that 2nd phase of tracking involves following a dropship's path; making it impossible to lead swarm missiles into obstacles.
3. Although outrunning swarms is easy, I doubt your experience as a python pilot and a swarm launcher user for not knowing items 1 & 2.
