Egbinger XI - Moon 3 Station
Molden Heath
Sovereignty of the Minmatar Republic.
'Attention all passengers, we have approached the docking station, please follow the indicated path to the nearest customs office. i repeat;....' from the rows of refugees, civilians going about their day, and the occasional guard with a semi-automatic tucked neatly into his hands, a lone female figure waited until the entrance to the station was near. then with a swift display of athleticism, hopped over the railings down to another set of walkways bypassing the customs office a 10-12 feet down.
a simple thing to do. normally she would go through customs as usual, just to prevent causing any trouble. this time however, they would only slow the figure down.
Once the coast was clear, the figure got up and proceed down towards another set of hallways, past the occasional drunkard and the shouts of a merchant advertising his wares. it was a merit that this person knew the place well, and within the span of 10 minutes of sneaking, running and climbing, approached a secluded area of the station, the dockyards. the dockyard section of the station was its prime feature, for the repairs of the massive ships that pass through the great wildlands. at its upper level, was a series of large walkways, outfitted with the equipment to carry and place the ships cargo to and from the staion. Even as the figure ran through the lower levels of the docks, she can see massive containers being lowered by the upper levels, the shouting of the workers was all too apparent if one decided to listen in to their conversations.
As the hooded figure came to a large clearing, the wristcomp beeped, and without hesitation she stopped and found a spot where it was easy to hide in; a simple light green empty container that had a small opening to its side. after crawling inside the container and making sure no one was around did she open her Wristcomp. on it was a simple message, from a friend dear to her, despite his origin.
Quote:"Hya'salia, I have the crew prepped and we have just approached the Estyr gate. the clones you ordered from Genolution we also managed to snag from the officials, but we dont have your copies, sorry. if there are survivors like you said are true, then we'll need to find a way out from your home systems. I've already sent the messages to Greyhound and the other members of our circle.
be safe and for god's sake, dont get yourself killed,
-Issac"
Upon hearing this bit of news, she exhaled and slowly took off her hood, revealing a battered and bloodied Hya'salia, the blood on her face had long since dried up but it carried unmistakable proof that something terrible had happened.
Reaching from behind she pulled out her personal weapon, the Sigis.
A product of Thukker ingenuity modeled to be a bulkier version of its clone counterpart, the Flaylock. loaded with powerful 14mm slugs instead of rockets, the Sigis fired with an insane amount of stopping power. Once she held it for her safety and a sense of security when going in her leisure clone, now so foreign and alien to her; her hand visibly trembled as she held it, adding to the fear slowly building up inside her.
Pulling out the clip, there were only 3 Sigis Slugs left in her magazine with 2, 12 round mags she carried in her Cargo pockets.
'its not going to be enough.' she thought and carefully slid the half-empty magazine back in its original place.
Using this chance to reflect on what had happened, she slowly slid down against the wall and slowly curled up into a ball. she had barely jumped into her leisure clone when she heard the door banging on her quarters. every instinct inside her screamed danger as she hid in the vent systems and clone jumped to another leisure clone. what happened next was the amount of sheer luck.
"they were unstoppable" she said to herself, a tear beginning to form as she remembered the wristcomp, it contained a copy of her essence, her consciousness, locked in digital memory. she had set it to automatically download her consciousness in the event of a breach like the one she suffered.
what was worse about the assailants was that after a brief firefight in which Junko was "killed", they had attempted to download her consciousness from her body.
It was, after all what they had wanted from her, the only thing that made sense from all this madness.
But by then she had escaped using the clone from the vents, hopping straight on top of a myron she had managed to dock underneath her quarters.by another stroke of luck, she had managed to fly off and latched her dropship onto a Prorator-class blockade runner bound for the Wildlands. only then did she realize the extent of this newer enemy.
she had no control over the situation. it was the exact opposite from what her bodies were supposed to do; give her a sense of power. the exact opposite from her immorality. now, with that power irrevocably shattered. she felt scared for the first time since she became a clone soldier.
but there is a slight hope that others may have survived their own ordeals, and have received the same message as she had:
'You are in danger, head to the station near the wildlands; no time to explain.'
Now she waited for any survivors, hoping that she wasn't alone in this predicament. or at least, wait for her close friend. |

Hope was beginning to sound as outlandish every second she waited inside the container. Hya'salia didn't want to risk anything to see if anyone was going to arrive. For her, every sound made, every object around hid a menace. Even she doubted her own senses to that fear..
For a while, Hya'salia was just a younger, more frightened version of herself before her R'annso io. Scared of the possibilities of the future.....
Then, just faintly a particular sound reached her ears, and instantly she recognized it. Somewhere in her past, she heard it many times before, in a life she never wanted....
.a faint humming of an engine, the roar of the twin thrusters. At first it felt like something passing by, but the longer she sat and listened, the more she was starting to become herself again...
"wait..... That's a.." The words couldn't be spoken, but she knows that sound as the humming roared overhead the container where she managed to hide.
A Grimsnes class dropship. In a low orbit search pattern.
Someone else had survived. And for a second, that part of her that waited so patiently roared in excitement. She wasn't alone, and it was time to act.
Within seconds, she flung open the door for her hopes to be confirmed; without a second more of doubt she scrambled up the massive containers, continuously hailing the drop ship to land through her wristcomp.
'cmon,...please help' she thought, hoping for an answer. |

"Vyzion.." Junko gasped as she saw the face of her would be savior. A good pilot by all standards, well liked among the other pilots.
Then she noticed him looking out behind her, her heart sank as she briefly considered the possibility.
They are here far too soon....
Without hesitation she dove straight into the Grimsnes as the side doors opened up. She slid for a foot couple feet before screaming "GO!!!!!" as her left hand slammed against the pilots door three times.
At the same time she pulled out her sigis and aimed towards whatever was behind her.
BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM!!!!!!! the loud gun report from the sigis was enough to make Hya'salia's ears ring.
The dark figure easily dodged all but one of the slugs, the impact from that slug ripped the arm off their assailant in a explosive display of blood and gore, but the assault looked unfazed, as Hya'salia looked on In horror
"Vyzion, get us out of here!!!" She said as she tightened her grip on a nearby handle with her good hand, preparing for the drop ship to take off

As the drop ship flew away she sat down against the pilots door in silent shock, oblivious to the forge rounds striking the ship.
' the second time I managed to survive... Maybe we do have a chance' Junko thought to herself, and then her thoughts turned to issac, who is arriving soon with her ship.'issac, please make it in time' she said in silent prayer, then she reloaded her sigis with the only full magazine and stood up straight.
Just as she was about to ask vyzion how he got here, the infantry receiver rang out. It was vyzion. She spent a few seconds listening to what Vyzion had said, and then nodded to herself. "well... We're dead anyways, lets bring down a few of those things with us, yeah? Alright, Vyzion; head to mac's, I'll contact whoever sent us that message."
As soon as she said that, she pulled up her wristcomp and activated a signal, after a few seconds, she spoke.

Suddenly her wristcomp beeped, and as she looked , her expressions of pain and fear suddenly disappeared, replaced by a look of seriousness.

I'm afraid I must get to the point, the numbers of these assailants has reached over 3 battalions worth of men. Their contacts and their resources are seemingly unlimited according to various contacts in our inner circle, your options are thus limited. For now I need you all to keep moving, either by flight or by ground, it matters little. I have requisitioned a few dropships, both Myron and Grimsnes class alike not far from your positions, upper dockyard levels 4-D9 I believe that is where mac's infamous railroad operations have led up to.

As they were distracted, Jonny made a break for the tunnel entrance. When he reached it, he turned around, crouched down, and shouted, 'Covering fire!' With that he started unleashing round after round on these soldiers in black.
Hya'salia barely had enough time to secure a prototype level scrambler rifle and a few magazines of ammo when they breached.
Ducking down underneath the bartable, she found a few grenades stashed underneath. After hearing a bottle smashed againt the floor and the fire erupting, she slammed the button and rose up
" GRENADE!!! " And heaved the grenade towards the black figures. As soon as the grenade hit the floor , she took out the scrambler with her right hand , holding it up with her sigis on her left as she fell back alongside jonny .
" Jonny!!, left side, assault!!" She yelled as she fired the scrambler rifle and her sigis alternatively,
SLAN SLAN SLAN SLAN BOOM!!
The assailant on the left staggered back as the rounds struck the armor, scrambler rifle to heat the armor to a high degree, the round from the sigis to punch through. But the sigis merely made a dent on the heated area of the armor
SLAN SLAN SLAN SLAN BOOM!!
The second volley heated the armor up exponentially, and the sigis finally found its mark. With a sickening wet slap, the assailant screamed and fell down. Using this chance, Hya'salia went and looked for the lever to close the underground entrance.
"c'mon Jonny!! We gotta go!!!" |

He cleared his throat. "I'm Vyzion. I enjoy dropship piloting, and as you can see from my repair tool here I do a bit of logistics on the field. That's... about it." "My name is Thal Vadam, I'm good with melee. The best at melee." As they walk deeper they come to a fork in the tunnel. Thal turns to Jonny "Which way do we go?" Jonny pointed to the left tunnel with his unburnt hand. 'Down there,' he said as he closed the right tunnel. He then tore off a bit of his jacket and tossed it in front of the entrance of the right tunnel, hoping to distract the shadow warriors. As they carried on down the tunnel, Jonny's vision started to blur. The head wound must of been more serious than he thought. His usually confident walk was slowly replaced with a stagger. His reached out for the wall, hoping to use it as support. Down the tunnel a bit, Jonny went to seal the passage behind him. But as he let go of the wall, he collapsed. The photo of his daughter fell from his pocket as he fell.
She heard it, just as they passed down the left tunnel. When she turned around and saw Jonny on the floor, she felt a sense of dread as she lunged towards him
"Thal, take the others down the dockyards, I'll catch up with you.....Jonny!!!" She said as she knelt beside him. She inspected his body, then came of a photo of Jonny and a little girl hugging each other for the camera. She smiled a bit, then picked it up and slid it into her vest.
" fighting for this long, huh?" Hya'salia said as she pulled out a civilian class nanite injector. She ripped off a small part of her shirt and used it as a tourniquet, for his burned arm. She felt for a vein and stuck the needle inside, releasing the medical nanites to his system directly. in a few seconds the burned portion of his arm slowly but noticeably began to heal, and his pulse stabilized.
Without a second more , she picked him up and held on to him his good arm over her shoulders " hang on for for a little while longer you crazy bastard". Hya'salia gritted and pushed the buttons to their door. For added measure she rigged an explosive to go off as soon as the left door was breached , and tried to walk Jonny out towards the rest of their group.

As crownrule and Vyzion were fighting off the shadow commandos, Jonny and Hya'salia trudged along until they reached the exit. The dockyards. Such a nostalgic place for her once before; bustling with ships of all kinds and sizes, now seemed like another obstacle in this hellish day.
Looking around, she noticed the Myron hidden behind some containers. " yes...finally something is going our way for once." Hya'salia though as she turned to listen in to what Thal said
Thal Vadam wrote: "Ok, here is the plan. There are four hostile targets outside. Junko, take Jonny and make sure he gets onboard safely. Me and my squadron will form a protective circle around you to keep you safe."
Thal sighs as he looked at his men. One of them at least was going to die. He knew they would die doing their duty, but it still pained him. He closes his eyes and cocks his combat rifle
"Any questions?"
Hya'salia thought of it once over.
" ok, I'll begin the take off sequence to the Myron on your signal. Once I take off, I'll come pick you up. Be sure you can take down those soldiers in that time. " she said as she outstretched a hand towards the Templar.
"if we make it out of this alive, I promise to find sanctuary for everyone, regardless of race, until this is all over, yeah?" Hya'salia said with a serious tone in her voice. She had already thought of such a place, but for now she had two injured soldiers and a whole shitstorm on her way.
((I'll assume we have shaken hands for now))
After the two of them shook hands, Myron hoisted Jonny over her shoulders and motioned for the other two to follow. Behind the containers to her right lay the dropships Isaac had sneaked in for them. Outfitted for mainly defensive based modules, but a decent boon for the survivors as hya'salia entered the myron.
She gently laid him down on a gurney near the back and strapped him onto it, and without a further word went up to the pilots cockpit.
Suddenly she was back in her element at last, the seat and the controls were enticing to activate, but she knew doing so too early would result in their discovery. For now she activated a small layout of the station and zoomed to the dockyards, where she saw Thal and his men prepare for an assault.
" don't get killed just yet, templar" she said softly, as her hand out of memory and constant memorization, slowly reached up to the first of many control panels needed to activate and start up the Myron's engines. |

It felt like an eternity as she slowly watched the feed from the dropships camera drone. A few times she almost started the engines, but when she faintly heard the sounds of combat rifles thundering in the distance, cutting most of the shadow warriors down, her hand flicked the first switch.
'fuel compression modules activated, fusion reactors are online, radiator online, wait gotta start up the capacitor. Dry thrust or vector thrust? Damn, tight area is making the air stagnate. Dry thrust it is. Fuel reached the engines, damn oxygen isn't mixing well with fuel, wait for it. Cap charges at 75%, no time to use defensive modules. Turrets are still offli... Wait they just came on, LADAR is online , two other signatures. Immortal? Hopefully one of ours. Ok, green across the board; spark it'
These seemingly limitless thoughts dissipated when the Myron's engines roared to life as Hya'salia wasted no effort in optimizing the oxygen, fuel mixture, and soon enough the Myron was slightly hovering by its own thrusters.
As soon as Thal was onboard, she whispered a small prayer
N'yt Dy'ohas Atho Wynarii, 'Guide us into paradise' and pushed the power to full, as soon as the drop ship cleared, she could hear Jonny using the turrets all while spewing alot of profanities in languages she both knew and those she didn't.
But now wasn't the time to ask him to stop, tilting it slight y, the Myron took off at full speed heading towards the swarm of neutral ships passing by when she heard a ping on her wristcomp.
Quote: docking bay 12, section A. Godspeed Hya'salia,

The se'terra is here. She thought as the deftly avoided ships, cruisers and frigates going about. Turning the corner of an amarrian prorator-class blockade-runner, a mastodon-class transport ship could be seen as she veered towards the portside cargo bay. The thing was enormous by normal standards, large enough to haul millions in cargo, with its modifications making also stealthy, courtesy of her father who originally commissioned the ship.
She at first doubted its existence, but she knew its telltale Thukker origins with a small script on the portside main, the words Se'terra emblazioned in white, just as she knew it would be. They were finally getting out of here " we are almost there boys, get ready to disembark in 10" she shouted onto the cargo bay receiver as she kept her eye on her ship, all other distractions she either took care of or never bothered to acknowledge...
*****
" sir, we have arrived at our destination", the navigational officer inquired as the final preparations were made. The person the officer was talking to was an Amarrian man in his early thirties. His robes were of his empire's design, though inside he could no longer consider himself an Amarrian no longer. He had a job to do as he turned to the main display, seeing a Myron class dripship on a approach vector.
' about time, hya'salia' he thought as he pressed the intercom to the entire ship. " all hands on deck, survivors are arriving, open the portside cargo bay, prepare pave-medics and engineers , prepare to refit the drop ship to offensive specifications" as soon as Isaac finished his message, he shouted to the bridge " Prepare to take off!!" he commanded, as he got up and turned to the elevator, his robes steadily flowing behind him. |

If the survivors from within the Myron were all there was to this rescue op, she would've set the drop ship down onto the Se'terra's cargo bay, hand the keys to the greesemonkeys and continued on with issac's plan.
But the two blips on her radar weren't giving her any small comfort. Earlier she had noticed them when she was prepping for takeoff, now it showed they were close to where they left the tunnel.
"too late" Hya'salia thought as she made the final approach.
'no it isn't a voice said to her. Alarmed, she nearly blew a hole in one of the display monitors, where she thought the voice originated from.
Then, as if she was there all along, a small, slender woman appeared before her, dressing in a simple Thukker ceremonial dress, for when burying the dead. She had Hya'salia's fierce eyes and her wild, unkept hair, yet they had a surprising gentleness about them, almost meek and timid, but strong enough to carry her spirit alive..
"mom....." Hya'salia said to herself, already she had begun to regret the decision to leave the final two away.
'look at me , little Hya'salia ' the voice of her mother spoke. Slowly she looked up to the apparition of her mother, the fearful demeanor that had carried her through this ordeal surfaced once again, but she did not cry nor dis she lose her will. She only remembered the determination, to save people, no matter the odds. She remembered the battalions she dropped on Caldari prime, she remembered the original crew of the Se'terra, and the battles she undertook. The desire was absent in her for the longest time now, and although she didn't say anything else to her mother, it was as if the two had talked for a long time..
Then she was gone.... Replaced by the view of the Se'terra 's modified cargo bay. It was a miniature command center, and in the far edges of the cargo bay she could make out the living quarters they designed for this occasion.
Her fear now replaced by that desire once again. " sorry boys, I'm going to make one last run, there's two lost lambs down there and they need picking up" Hya'salia said throught the dropships intercom. As she gently hovered inches from the ground of the Se'terra, the lights went green for a few seconds, signaling the survivors to disembark.
" Hya'salia, what are you doing!?! Set her down" issac's voice boomed on her earpiece. With a flick of her hands, the Myron spun a full 180 degrees, facing the exits
" sorry Isaac, I need to do this, prep my ship for space bound extraction" Hya'salia said, and before Isaac could respond, she gritted her teeth and opened the thrusters to full, sending the Myron back out into the hornets nest |

She heard the others ask for her, for what to do to , where to go, but she was transfixed on the mess below. Somewhere, among the mass of piled up bodies, lay what was left of Jonny, who only moments before, entrusted his daughter to her.
She could only watch as he made a feeble attempt at taking down the shadow warriors.
'jonny.... You finnaly found paradise, we'll see you soon, good friend ' she thought as she whispered a prayer in her Thukker tongue.
" the other two are not far out, I'm going to pull a dive and catch, so everyone get ready, I need you to unload everything you have from the broadside entrance(right side)" she said as she flicked a few switches, and banked the drop ship right towards the signals of the two survivors. She made sure she had enough height from the ground when she turned the cargo lights red, activated her hardeners, whispered another prayer and plunged the drop ship down between the shadow warriors and the survivors near a lift. At the last second, she pulled the drop ship up between them just as the first bullets pelted her ship.

There was a certain skill when operating dropships designed to transport troops and cargo. Hya'salia knew this too well, It all lay with the capacitors the ship was fitted with. Theoretically, it was impossible to keep a single module online for long, as the increasing load would strain the power grid, and overload the CPU. therefore to use the capacitors to their fullest potential you'd have to juggle between module effectiveness and how long can you make the capacitor last.
Thankfully the modules her Myron was equipped wasn't go pg nor CPU intensive. Quickly she raised shield hardeners, amplifying the density of the plasma-based shielding to a considerable size. Another set of modules prepped her dropship to take off as soon as she was ready to move once the survivors reached the dockyards. She sent a message their way, stating to look for a Myron.
Next she made adjustments to her CPU output, optimizing them to move more responsive to the set of turrets Vyzion was using as he unloaded round after round onto the shadow warriors, nearly cutting down raven and crownrule as they made it out towards the dark shaped tank that was laid out in their way. By this time her cap charge was getting low; they need to get moving, or she'll have trouble getting then to safety.
Putting her 'cargo' into harms way was the last thing she wanted to do, but at this rate she'll be forced to make some tough decisions.
" whatever you guys are doing , we need to move now!! Our HVI'S are near the dockyards, hurry it up!!" |

"its time to head out' Junko thought of grimly. capacitors are almost empty, shields are taking hits, and raven and the others are busy fighting in reckless abandon.
she came here to save the others , not get trapped in a useless battle where the result is their inevitable doom, she wants to run from them again, not fight any longer. she doesnt want to die, that was a harsh reality she had to face. and that was when a female she barely knew casually walked inside the cockpit. she was calm, collected and was oblivious to the battle raging outside. from her display a large amount of mortal soldiers leaped in, sacrificing themselves for a few precious seconds to round everyone up and leave.
her grief had never been more lower than before.
"I suggest we pick up that strange Amarrian in the tank and get out of here" the strange woman said. words Hya'salia herself wanted to say. a second she silently nodded, and relucantly she pressed a few series of buttons, disabling the turrets and activating the star-board side doors, stopping just enough for the rest of the clones to get in, and bringing in a few precious seconds of capacitor reserves.
"...Get in. Now" she said on the intercom. her voice had a tone of seriousness that that mixed with grief and sadness.
' too many people gave their lives for nothing....' she thought as she prepped her engines to take off.
'and its all our fault....'

it was all she could do not to pull her sigis out and empty the woman's skull, it was another to watch as raven barely managed to get crown into the Myron.
she took one last look at the mortals who now give them a second chance. she saw one who barely managed to knock a shadow warrior on the ground. she could imagine his battle cry as he lunged at him with a knife, driving it into the Warriors chest and then being flung across the ground...
he looked like an ethnic Gallentean, with dark brown hair, almost red by the lighting, fair skinned and bleeding from his mouth and other wounds he sustained. for a while he got up off the ground, and checked his rifle and then looked back at the Myron breathing heavily. in her eyes, it felt like this unknown soldier was looking at her directly.
then he saluted. gave a wink, and joined the others who were fighting back.
"Ta'lch y'n..." Junko Said, in her Native tongue, activated the afterburners and the dropship began to rise.
the layout of the Station then showed one of the survivor's signals. the other, had dissappeared. the computer recommended attempting to retrieve the other survivor, but the woman behind her told her to leave them.
'Abandon them and live, or save them and die.' the words resounded within her brain. she racked her brain, trying to think of a way to recover the remaining soul.
there was one,
The Drift Maneuver. highly risky.
it required near-perfect timing to pull off, and in the early days, when the rumors of clone soldiers were tales of legend, it was used by people, like herself, who wanted to extract a whole squadron all at once: get up to a certain height, then make a drop towards the ground to build up speed, and when you get to a certain point, you pull up, turn the dropship right or left and let the forward momentum, carry the dropship as the pilot then focused of keeping the dropship low enough so that the squad can simply hop up and into the dropship. too slow and you stall. too fast and you make roadkill out of your squad. too high and you simply miss altogether.
it became obsolete when AV specialists managed to increase the damage and tracking capabilities of the swarm launcher, but right now, as she neared closer to the signal of the remaining survivor, she turned the reciever on.
"you may be right in sacrificing those mortals, woman... " she spoke, her voice was slightly raspy and choked, but she cleared her throat and continued quickly.
".... but in my ship, my word is law: Vyzion, get ready for the Drift Manuver, open portside doors, detach turret and prepare for retrieval." she said.
((Chance Mechanic: Vyzion, roll a dice three times, use the mean of those three rolls to determine the Fate of my attempt
1 is the lowest, in which the ship will be badly damaged, and 6 that i pull it off and pick up Hawky))

Hawk-eye Occultus wrote:Hawkeye exited the lift, focusing on the dropship hovering in the air nearby. He looked over at Jester, who was running through all the gunfire, smoke, and chaos towards the docked Se'terra.
"Crazy fool, he's going to get himself killed." he muttered.
He looked back at the dropship, which to his disbelief was now in a steep dive, heading directly towards him.
What the hell are they doing!?
He knew the dropship was going too fast to avoid, especially since it had turned sideways partway into the dive. Without thinking he leaped forward into the path of the ship, slamming hard against the bay floor. His face had a stinging sensation, he felt dizzy, and he had a terrible pain in all the muscles down his left side. But he was still alive, that was the most important thing, right?
"Ge... Get us out of here..." He feebly said breathing shallowly, barely paying attention to anything around him.
seconds seemed like hours as the dive was nearing completion, she prepped the engines to go full power with whatever fuel is left in the Myron. she sounded the alarms and turned to the side, just as the maneuver was at it's lowest point.
that was when she heard the scores of swarm launchers being fired. all at nearly the same time.
'no...' she thought as she fed power to the engines. but it was big mistake.
Hya'salia heard the loud banging on the bay floor, and knew that she had gone too high for the survivor to make it safely. in reflex she gunned the engines to full, her myron turning towards the Se'terra, now far into the distance. ' not going to make it' Hya'salia gritted her teeth and made the myron accelerate to breakneck speeds, as a result she barely had time to navigate around the vast array of ships passing by, all in an effort to outrun the swarms, hidden from her eyes, but seen in the camera's of her ships.
"Issac, if your ready, prep to launch, make way for the station exit" she said through gritted teeth. static, but then she heard Issac's voice come through
"About time Hya'salia, the Se'terra will begin takeoff procedure.... our security team has found the other survivor, they are bringing him in..... *In the distance* set course for the wildlands, initiate phase two of our escape plan!" the radio abruptly cut off as Hya'Salia flew over the lumbering size of a Raven-class Battleship.
that was when the Missiles hit, detonating their powerful charges above the Myron, forcing it to scrape the outer skin of the Raven class with a sickening sound of metal screeches and groans
a series of nononononoNoNO!! scrambled through Hya'salia's Mind as she tried desparately to keep the Myron held together. the portside bay doors were bent inwards and the survivor's inside must've taken a beating, but She held on.
one way to save a thruster was to re-route the fuel cells to the auxilary compression system, where the occuring charge needed to ignite the fuel-oxygen compund was available. the problem was that the auxiliary measure was intended to assist in crash landing scenarios, not to regain flight capabilities.
she took one last look with the camera drone, where the bodies of the mortals, where the pub lay in ruins, and to where jonny's strewn body resided, forever would she remember this scene, and the shadow warriors who made this nightmare possible...
then she gunned the engines, making her way to the se'terra's cargo bay, the myron falling apart on the way. bits of metal collided with the giant exterior of the se'terra, and the myron skidded to a stop, one thruster missing, the bay doors bent beyond recoignition and the cockpit's window shattered, a bleeding Hya'salia at her seat her breathing was ragged and her chest hurt, a cracked rib or so was causing her to cough up blood. 'we made it......than....god...' was the last words she spoke before her vision turned black and she fell unconscious

"Myron has Landed, Myron has Landed" the Loadmaster's Voice boomed into the bridge. Issac had been silently praying for any news or their success when the Loadmaster reaffirmed his resolve.
"your finally back Hya'salia" Issac said to himself. blessing himself, he rose from his meditative pose and up over the captains section of the bridge. without a second more, Issac turned towards the rest of the officer's on deck, various faces from different cultures and backgrounds, yet all united by the Cause Hya'salia herself followed, often to the bitter end.
"You heard the Loadmaster!, put her to the heavens! adjust cloaking module capacity 54 points overdrive, dump all capacitors to warp engines! get her out of this hellhole" his voice resonated throughout the entire Ship, and the rallying cries of the countless crew resounded.
"YES SIR"
"and get me the medics, those survivors are in need of care" Issac Added. he watched as the Se'terra exited the station, its giant hull dwarfed by the countless other Ships passing by as the ship lurched to a stop.
then the powerful warp engines ignited, sending the Se'terra into warp, and far from the accursed station that brought them together. |
