We lost about 400 peak average so about 2,400 players are playing destiney. Destiney takes about 16 hours to beat, for full replay value 3x that number and average play time session is about anywhere from 24-36 days. Some players are apparently already back from destiney after binging on it on the first day or where sorely disappointed. Overall the dent is excessively small in comparison the whole picture.
Planetside 2 has suffered very similar losses though Destiney is not to blame there and this is based on steam only client. The losses have been happening two weeks before.
Counterstrike Global Offensive has gained players during the launch weak with only a notable down time spike and nothing more.
Borderlands 2 has lost about 5,000 players but the losses started a week before launch as well; there was no major updates or competition updates launch around the loss time to explain why. Destiney may have had impact before launch day in preparation.
US holiday didn't seem to uptick the play either for many of these games.
