1700 hp, damage resistance and the ability to snipe ( or use any other ranged light weapon ).
When paired with a pocket logi at med-long range even with a rr or laser, I can empty clip after clip and landing all but a few shots only to have them laugh it off. At least with a forge gun it's hard to aim and they can't strafe as fast. Then there's the redline sniping sentinel... At least commandos have less hp and no damage res.

Unless it's domination and two sentinels have the point using RR with a logi/scout hiding repping them. If they don't come after me through a big open area it's a endless stalemate. I can't tell my whole team what to run. A forge is hard to hit fast moving targets but can ohk infantry I'm fine with em them, hmg are a little op right now at least you can win at range, that's fair enuf.
Just disagree with heavys using light weapons... And redline sentinels snipers are not easy kills.

And for the insane, there is no resistances to Nova Knives.
I run solo, orbitals aren't free. And I'm not asking how to kill them. I'm saying why can they use them... To versatel nerf bat pleeease.

Oh Mikey'... I wasn't looking for advice. Everyone's whining about this and that. I was just asking a question. I have one of every suit most the weapons, tanks, ads. Just throwing my thoughts in.
Like... Why you can teleport in and out of vehicals, it should take a moment. ( egress from a tank sucks ) Why drop links are so hard to deal with, uh melee?(and why can't my droplink eat my clone and teleport me to another one ) Why can logi run offensive equipment, and why can comm/assault/scout run drop links rep tools nanite's scanners? Why the hell can anyone but scouts run cloaks or ewar ?
So many silly questions... Oh yeah it's a video game never mind .

but mostly just because dust is supposed to be a sandbox fps and therefore players are supposed to be able to change their fittings any way that is possible to allow for variation..
i thought everybody knew this, it was what was advertised when i downloaded it.
they even had a video of a heavy sniper- it showed as light frame sniper getting killed by a medium frame then said look what happens when you use a heavy frame, they then killed the medium frame with his smg
but this was a while ago..
The videos also showed drones logi jeeps ( I think even logi dropships ) AI to fight ( the WHOLE reason I started playing, also as a logi )
Again my question was because we are looking for balance and since we are nerfing equipment ( spam ) scouts and sidearms, and not buffing logi so I'm asking why not the one thing nobody but the people who do it defend. Redline heavy snipers.
Oh yeah sniper rifles need a range nerf....maybe full effect within 200 m ineffective past 350 m. Scouts are hard enuf to counter without having to spint around nonstop like a cockroach on crack. ( you've seen me do it )
