With the faulty hit detection we still have and all, why was it the best idea to introduce something that can make you invisible? (not saying cloaks bugs the hit detection even more) I would have preferred the bubble shield. Forming big lines of defense and planning ways to counterattack seemed more fun and required more tactics than the "click the button that turns you invisible and run" tactic that we have now. It would have been something like StarHawk. Where players could build bases outside of their main base. This bases could be be defenseive or used for offense. Which brings me to it, if you are getting tired of Dust and want something more fun, try out Starhawk :D Been here since Mordus Private Trials Closed Beta Vet under 30 million SP ;-;

One day CCP released a dev blog about Uprising back in Chromosome. The dev blog contained that CCP will add Cloaks and Shield bubbles to the game. Never happened until 1.8 where cloaks were intorduced. And if I remember correctly, before 1.8 people made threads on how the cloak would be a game changer and it is vastly needed while they ignored the bubble shield. Not even when I have my glasses on. While I can see cloaked scouts when they come into my field of view, on some mood setting maps the blue shimmer is not that noticeable to me. Because they think my assault Ck.0 with regulators, armor rep and recharger/energizer is easy pickings. Only to find out I rep faster than them. LOL. Btw I often run a scout too, so I tend to know how they think and move so I avoid certain spots on the map in a non scout suit.

Cloaked Scouts light up like a Christmas tree, although there seems to be some kind of bug. Even with the settings at 20, they don't always appear blue sometimes they seem to be a "watery color" as in you can see the outline but no blue.
