Just a few mechanics tweaks and 40+ corps in PC would have been pretty awesome. PFBHZ beat us pretty handily the first time we did 16vs16. They had Sha Kharn as their ferry though, and he knew how to play counterlogi well. I think we could have beat them 8v8, we had better strategy from the start on them... Yea I remember that fight, is there a video of that? Didn't you guys have a crap ton of ringers though?

The timers were able to be permalocked by repeated attacks and Chronos had all of our districts locked into 9am-3pm. We decide to attack a random SI district that was sitting at a 02/03 timer to return the favor. We get in and its PFBHz + Sha.
We went with the team we had, which wasn't made with our typical rigorous rolebased composition. We lost, we learned. What we learned is that ringers are necessary sometimes, but ONLY if they fill a role that we don't have in-house. Second lesson we learned was: "Expect the best possible opponent in every match". My personal lessons from that match contributed directly to my usefulness until speed logis became garbage :/. |

I contributed some ideas about general direction (as did the majority of our ~20 active players) and spoke to cubs + HT about ideas, but it was always mostly Cubs/HT calling the shots... And they were damn good at it.
My role was to kill uplinks and place my own. I also played as the highpoint dropship logi and forward scout/logi. If Zatara/zdub/doc were exceptionally busy and unable to do city links, I would spawn there and help. Occasionally I would camp above a point and direct impact people with a mass driver until they were dead.
I played a role. I was the worst person on that team, but my job always got done. |

I'll give Eon all the credit in the Dust world, they were a monster, but Kujo had more to do with that Eon victory than Eon did. Mostly accurate. Radar tried having another unscheduled friendly match, but with TP this time. We figured something like that would happen eventually, seeing as we had been making a massive land grab right next to them for a few weeks in preparation. We liked the prospect of getting a chance to play against OH so much that we quickly did a bit of match scheduling of our own and decided to make it a little more interesting: Loser lost all their districts. It also just so happened that our overall plan included taking out either hellstorm or OH in the hopes of diminishing their ability to wage war as an alliance. OH being eliminated before the start of the war was a result of long term EoN. strategy, good diplomacy (and poor diplomacy on radar's part), and opportunity seized. Kujo got beat in a pub by the corp that joined EoN. with RND. Movado and Cubs sent Hellstorm leadership a friendly reminder that attacking an EoN. corp would result in us taking all yo stuffs. They gave them a "so be it" and stuffz taking commenced. TP lost the first two matchs against hellstorm. We were without DJINN Hellsreaper( Most underrated of all of the players in TP IMO) who was one of our strongest slayers and most versatile players. Once he logged on we proceded to win a couple of very close matches against HS teams that included everyone you would expect. After the anti-flaylock/fused treaty was enacted, we dominated them handily and they lost the will to fight. TP just had better tactics and strategy at the time. The same 19 people played every night and listen to a tape recording of cubs telling us exactly what we were going to try to do and who was doing what. If something needed to be done, somebody always did it. And broadway was just mad that I was beating him one on one consistently. Anything else that happened was just misguided rage. Didn't matter if they were more organized. EoN. matched up right down the list. Our best team was better than their best team. Our second and third best teams were better than their second best team. The only question going in was if TP was going to be able to beat hellstorm consistently. We knew we were good enough to force LoI to field them against us, but not if we were good enough to beat them regularly. With OH and their flaylock spam(anyone who could equip one did, some of them equipped two of em), it would have been a much more balanced conflict., but I still think EoN. had a lot more depth in their 3/4/5/6 "best" corps than LoI did. ^ agree with this. Them flaylocks were annoying as hell. EoN mainly won the war due to poor preparation on the leagues side. Because the majority vote was a NO it was a surprise to see us going to war, the so called 'battle of the gods' as kujo put it. Since that day when Kujo formed AE the league went down hill, I remember a war with KEQ or something but I have poor memory of what happened at the time. I know that molon left not shortly after and then at the start of 1.8 I think we and The Southern Legion left to form our own alliance. It shocked me that Hellstorm joined Tso's, I thought they'd wanted to stay in the league as they were the creators. Personally I'd love to fight molon in PC as I haven't played with their guys since they left the league but I suspect few of guys who were active back then are still active now.
It's a shame people all joined the blue donut especially since the game might be dying soon you'd think people would want good fights. It would be cool if Tso's split of and PC was comprised of like 4 major powers and not just 1 but I 99% doubt this would happen. |

Kujo was better off without the league of wimps. He accomplished so much more after he left to do his own thing. I was there for a good portion of the alliance meetings, though not all, and NO ONE honestly spoke out against the war, and the ones that did were also citing the pros as well as the cons.
War is demanding, but why are you playing planetary conquest if not to go to war and take and destroy?
The LoI guys speaking out against the war or claiming to never of wanted are just letting the rest of us know why they were stepped on there time here in Dust. |

People are trying to say that with better planning, LOI might not have gotten the long shaft through from the bottom to the neck.
