- Every time you press the attack button, your character rapidly stabs with both knives. Both strikes do damage, so you actually do 2x the knives listed damage when attacking.
- When you charge an attack, the damage is doubled. If both strikes hit, you will do in total 4x the damage you see in the knives info window.
- Charging makes noise. You can't sprint while charging. Keep an eye on your prey's health bar, it may be more practical to spam regular attacks than a charge.
- red and green gatorade and radar range extenders are your friends
- The minimap will show what direction the reddots are facing. Stick them in their behind.
- Knife damage is boosted by sidearm damage mods. Do not equip myofibril stims, they do not help.
- If you put the knives in the light weapon slot, they will be the first thing you switch to from cloak. Then, you can stack sidearm damage mods and a ranged sidearm of your choice for maximum fun times
- Knives hurt vehicles. This is totally badass. The explosion from the vehicle you stabbed to death will probably kill you. It is still worth it.

Get level 5. Ishuk's are not too expensive and are vastly superior. As a gal scout you should have no problem using kin cats while not totally compromising your E-War, which is the way to go.
Oh, here is a good one! One very useful technique to master is to sprint toward the back of the target, then jump and charge knives in midair - this way you don't lose your speed while charging and the knives are ready for you to deal a full charged strike when you are landing on the reddot's back.
PLC, NK, Scout - before 1.8.
That's right, I stack that OP Sh!t.

Run straight at an enemy and lol as their shots don't register on your light-frame hitbox and stab them to death after a 50 meter dash straight in without even dodging, no cloak, just abusing mechanics.
*ahem* I mean have fun :D

Just think of yourself as a velociraptor of dust; people don't see you until its too late. Never equip a shotgun or any close range weapon with knives, you'll be screwed if someone sees you from a distance with a RR or CR. Also, try not to attack an enemy by running straight at them from the front, the only exception being if you are hiding around a corner lying in wait. THE BASIC KNIVES SUCK DON'T USE THEM!!!!! Have fun being a badass assassin.
I don't use OP weapons, I AM OP.

STD are like butter knifes so don't use them for steak, use the steak isho knifes because they cut the meat very well and with ease.
STD knifes are good for spreading jelly though but as usual, peanut butter can be a ***** to spread because it sticks to the knifes a lot.

A few things people have not mentioned yet:
1) The jump charge. Since you cannot charge while sprinting, and you sometimes encounter fast enough enemies that you cannot catch up without sprinting you will need this. Jump, charge in mid air, and release just as you land. If you are using ZNs or dealing with an assault with some tank that might require a 2nd set of swipes, land towards the side (I think left is most recommended) as it reduces the problems of backpedal.
2) Using corners to ambush. This is one of my personal favorites as you can quickly go from being prey to hunter before the hunter realizes what is happening. This is effective in areas with lots of cover, like null cannons, or interiors with corners, stairs, doors etc. If you think someone is chasing you, or if you know someone is about to come through an area and isn't aware you are there, hide around the corner with your knives charged. Just as they get to the entrance, corner etc., move out of your position directly towards the enemy (trying not to sprint by accident and negate your charge), and release the knives. You will often take down your target before they have time to react.

Be ready for people that step outta line of sight sometimes. Squad with other nova knifing scouts, sometimes it's best to see it in action and learning visually. That's how I learned. I squaded with other knifing scouts and picked up on their movements and how they attacked their enemies.
When I was baby scout (pre-new weapons and pre-FW changes...sooo 1.5?) I squaded with scouts as much as possible. I actually used to run GLU-5 and ZN-28s. Haha.
But yeah squad with some of the guys on here on the forum. They're super chill and will show you the way of the blade.

Get level 5 and take those ZN's and throw them out the window. No but seriously getting knives to 5 is so worth it. I have prof 5 on knives and they insta gank MLT,STD and ADV. Proto may need a little more swipes. Plus, Pro knives are only 6k more than ADV
