The most op thing in the game is vets q-syncing. 6-12 high sp elites running proto in pubs ( I don't care about FW or PC ) using every exploit or OP fit/weapon possible. Personally I'd love to see no squads in public matches, team chat and mute are still there but no shared vision no extra points ( for farming ), the chance 12 guys with 70 million sp running proto will rip the guy's fresh from academy apart would hopefully drop there.
I know there is a new " mu " coming but I guarantee it will be defeat-able and abused ( bet it will be q-syncing against each other and having a squad of high mu char leave as the round starts and having Scotty do his usual job and fill it with newbs ).
Just tired of watching a round start when I would wager my payout before the round starts my team will win or lose based on the stack of similar corp names.

I totally agree .
Delta should come with a SP or infantry SP refund so that a campaign for one is not needed .

Just commenting on the all the OP talk. I'll still do very well and have fun but knowing the outcome before it start's... Lame part.
Had to post after a day with at least 50% ( blah blah numbers ) of obvious q-sync. Somthing that will never get fixed if vets have anything to say.

CCP had it's own built in matchmaking system from EVE they took no advantage of.
High Security space... = Militia Gear only... ANd Militia gear doesn't register skill bonuses. Lower payout.
Low Security Space, public matches. = ADV gear max and below, Medium payout.
Null Security space public matches. No Gear Restrictions, Higher Payout.
Letting players self regulate their gaming experience takes massive amounts of blame off CCP and leaves the choice and consequence in the players hands.
Trying to automatically match people based on variables that are deemed viable in the process(Laugh) Is like shooting yourself in the foot before you go for a Jog... It literally hurts my brain to try and put myself on that train of thought.
The amount of Variables you would need to Program into the game to make an automated matchmaking system relevant, would make the entire system a MASSIVE time investment, taking a development team well over a year to properly accomplish...
CCP tried to do it in a few months with an understaffed team without the proper resources. |

They had no leadership at CCP Shanghai when they introduced the Matchmaking and Aim assist patch of 1.4 last september.. The Executive producer quit... Along with some other leaders..
So it was just the development team leaders in charge of their teams... And alot of the development team leaders at CCP Shanghai just don't get along at all...
So all the Development team heads pretty much made up their own projects and went forth from there... What we got for a 5-6 month period from CCP Shanghai is a Central leadershipless jumble of whatever the frack they felt like doing.
As most of the community was still playing through this development process and left during this period... I Would have to say no... There was more then enough players playing.
And the answer is balls. They didnt have the balls to say...... NO! SCREW YOU! WE ARE MAKING IT THIS WAY. Which is the centralized problem with alot of DUST.
Sad but at least Rattati is keeping it interesting. |

Team deploy needs to be a thing. Once you have team deploy have scotty prioritize team v team or at least three organized squads v team.
The problem with squads deploying and q-symcing is not the q-sync
Its the fact that scotty does not see a six man squad and automatically assign the next six man squad in the queue to the opposing force. |

snip I remember the meta suggestions in the old Feedback and Suggestions. The Protobears of the day did not like it one bit. That was when the old Teiricide meant using protogear like a crutch.

The problem was, and is, the low player count. They have to throw us all in together, otherwise the queues will take forever. A better solution is to put squads against each other as opposed to 2 squads on one side and 16 fandom's on the other.

How bout the simple thing I described. No squads in pubs, factional & PC stays the same. Perfect for casual players and we could use some more. Bet one dev could change that in a day. The game recalculating stats for tiered play is huge comparably. I would bet the hardcore RP players would actually love the boost in factional play and competitiveness.

September came around with Matchmaking patch... No one could get into match... The People that could would have 16 players on one side and 4 on the other...
The Aim assist ruined all the gun game and moment to moment enjoyment in the game... The toe to toe fights and butt clenching duels and fights where all but gone.
Here let me find a Pyrex Review for you to get a raw assumption of what CCP Shanghai actively did to their population... They did this.. The players where here and they killed their own populace through managing their IP.... <---- click it for the vid if you didn't get the hint.

Please consider the fact some of us are casual players, don't want imaginary ( online friends we never have or ever will actually meet ) friends, and would like to know each match will be filled randomly.
PC = organized high end fights ( I hear PC needs tweaks, I'll stay outa that )
Factional = squads ( q-sync still possible ) competitive play without cost of PC while encouraging more factional play ( the gear and salvage is better ) maybe add a small isk payout?
Public = randoms vs. randoms . Less chance a team of proto high sp will face a team of basic/milita.
Benefits? No calculations for poor Scotty ( I think he has a drug/drinking problem anyway ) maybe new players will have a chance?

I think the new mu is going to give those who already abuse q-sync and even better tool to abuse Scotty's mental weakness. I can even see alts used for boosting put into super low mu squads, syncing them and leaving battle after it begins so another group can be cued in. You think the no lifers can't work around anything they come up with.

I remember that because it was after I first started and was the beginning of all the departures of workers at CCP and the talk of " new " development that never happened .
I remember them touting all the new development and " leaking " pictures of all the new weapons , suits and vehicles that were suppose to be applied to Dust ... only for them to announce the idea of legion at FF and finding out that a lot of those items just wasn't going to be included in this game but the next .
Man , how fast things and direction changes in a year .

I've deployed solo and had it put me with a ffull nyain san ..and another full nyain chan squad on the same side vs 16 fresh berries..now if it had been reasonable...it would've taken the worst 6 fresh berries from the enemy side given then to nyain sans side..taken nyain can ..and put them on the enemy side with me...then you would have nyain San squad with 10 bluedots...and nyain chan squad plus mortedeamor and 9 blue dot freshberries...and it would have been a close fight where either side could have won...
But dust instead puts 2 squads on mics together 12 vets...and then adds me on their team. So now we have 13 vets..3 nubs vs..16 freshberries. That's ccp matchmaking

My experience with qsync in pubs usually puts our squads against each other. THATS when the proto comes out. This is the most fun you can have playing dust imo. They need to bring back corp battles. Qsyncing 2 proto squads with the intent of stomping is just douchemode |
