Spawn vehicles like how they're recalled, or give them invulnerability for a few seconds and just drop them from the sky.
Besides immersion, is there any other reason you guys think we should keep RDVs?

Immersion? I don't think I've been immersed in DUST since before Uprising...

Rdvs should be kept because losing your vehicles Over buggy features is working as intended.

An RDV dropped my vehicle on a building edge and got it blown up. Remove them.

I think they should limit the amount of RDV's you have, or in corp battles force them to be payed for... So when you get 2 people together you can blow up the enemies supply of vehicles...
Though this would require them to stop the RDV's suicide into the MCC, as that would e quite unfair.
Also with my tanks, it's nice when the rdv explodes, I get my tank faster, lol... Sucks with jeeps/dropships though. |

Fairly certain this would be a client side update, but it does not bother me. It sucks when I have to wait 8 minutes for the RDV to drop my vehicles, and this problem even happens in PCs?!

I lost 2 Pythons back to back because the RDV decided to drop it from 50 miles up in the sky |

The only reason the recall mechanic works that way is because if it didn't it would be glitch as F*ck. RDV's can barely drop them off now imagine them picking them up, I've seen two RDV's circle each other for like 5 minutes (This was a really really long time ago) rubber banding RDV's, RDV's drop things off from 50+ Meters and have had to shoot down friendly RDV's in PC in order for a teammates or my own vehicle to drop instead of just infinitely dropping. On top of all that I've had issues such as calling a tank in right before I hit the ground hitting my damps still dying coming spawning back in an being unable to call a vehicle in nor did the one I called in ever come even leaving and rejoining didn't fix it.

Ah yes, the RDV dance... Quite the spectacle!
If they could program it, or have it as something Eve pilots control, could be quite entertaining to have the RDV's pick up the vehicles instead of recall/disappear. |

I wouldn't mind a developer's point of view on RDVs if they could take the time to detail what they thought of them, because right now as players it doesn't seem like they are necessary at all.
Given the state of the game I think the removal of RDVs should be considered, unless the implementation of another method of recall delivery is too complex for a hotfix. I don't think it will be game changing, but an extremely important boost in gameplay for what I'd assume to be relatively low effort.
Sure we'd lose the ability to shoot vehicles as they are deployed, but the gains in terms of how streamlined it would get at the start of matches to get into vehicles, the possibilities of not only having to call in vehicles from safe spots but also in the middle of battle (like we see in some trailers) and having less RDVs my dropship to collide into (this is a personal one I admit) as well as a plethora of other reasons all point in favour of RDV removal.

Don't remove RDVs, otherwise I would have no fear about when and where I call in my vehicle. If I call it in at a dumb location, either the RDV will blow it up or the enemy will blow it up before delievery.
EDIT: Yes, even the redline ground spawn could be dumb location, I have gotten my ADS blown up on delievery at the start of the match many times in a row on many different occasions.

Have all call-ins/deliveries/recalls be tied to supply depots. Put supply depots in non-mentally disabled places. ???? Profit.

I think people need more flexibility as to where they can call in vehicles though. Only problem is what happens if your vehicle materialises right where an enemy is standing. Does he fuse with your tank?

Once after much RDV chasing I saw my LAV drop ran over to it to have the other LAV fall at that moment on top of me.
