If you purchase the digital version of Destiny on the PS3/XBOX360, you can upgrade to next-gen for free. Let's say you decide to upgrade to next gen sometime later this year. You have till Jan. 15th, 2015 to do so, but can play on both consoles as the PSN/Gamertags are linked. This way, you don't have to leave your friends behind if you've already moved on to next-gen consoles. The details can be found in the link below.

If you pre-order the digital version on PS3, you can upgrade and get the PS4 version for free. Since the gamertag/PSN ID is linked, it'll still allow you to play on both consoles as you'll have a digital copy on both. In the Beta, I was able to log onto the PS3 version after playing and making progress on the PS4 since I had beta codes registered for both consoles. I assume that's how they plan on doing this as well.

I hope they let us move from PS3 to PC, when Destiny gets released to PC in Q2 of next year.
Related to Ivan Avogadro, of the New Eden Avogadro's. Charmed, I'm sure.

It'd be nice if you could. Don't know how that'd work though since your accounts are tied to your PSN/Gamertags. Prolly wouldn't since PC handles are separate.
