AV does damage to dropships... of course, that makes sense.
Bullets from CRs, RRs, ARs, HMGs, SMGs, etc. do damage to shield dropships when they have 0 shields... what?
CCP this has been broken for a while but please fix this crap.
A Viper, Myron, or Python should not get sniped out of the air by a MLT sniper rifle because it has 0 shields. The armor on shield dropships is like armor on a dropsuit, bullets damage it.
It is some what common knowledge and people exploit it.
"O look a python! I'll flux it twice then shoot it down with my AR!" Seriously?
It is like fluxing a Gunnlogi then shooting it to death with an SMG. Imagine the QQ from that...
If a shield dropship has... lets say 500 armor, it should be 500 vehicle armor just like all the other vehicles. Shield dropships shouldn't be like a dropsuit and get killed by guns. If an HMG is firing for a long time while it has no shields then okay you can debate that but every single gun can kill any shield dropship when it has 0 shields.
I have had numerous times where my Myron gets shot down by a sniper, CR, RR, or HMG quickly because of this crap.
My guess is that the issue lies with efficiency but you can check on that if I'm wrong.
I would post this in the Feedback section but everyone knows that GD actually gets attention while the Feedback section gets ignored from time to time. Just like other stuff I've posted in the Feedback section, issue ignored.

All vehicles don't have the issue
When you shoot a vehicle with a gun, it barely does any damage. If you shoot a shield dropship when it is in armor, it does serious damage.
Example:
A gun that does 30 damage a bullet hits a tank, tank receives 1-4 damage
A gun that does 30 damage a bullet hits a shield dropship, the shield dropship receives 30 damage.
If a tank is on the verge of death, you could kill it with a gun but when it actually has health you can't. When a shield dropship has FULL armor, you can shoot it with a gun and kill it in seconds.

The examples Atiim and Hakyou gave is what I'm talking about. I'm not talking about a tank that is on the verge of death then killed by a gun. I'm not talking about a LAV that is on the verge of death or was being shot at for a bit by numerous guns. I'm talking about a set of vehicles that can be killed by a MLT AR at FULL armor when they have 0 shields. Shield LAVs could be killed by fluxing them then shooting them but it would take a good amount of ammo to do it if you're not using an HMG. A shield dropship though could be killed by 1 clip or less by most guns. I've killed Pythons with 2 fluxes and 1 clip of my Toxin SMG.

but should they get destroyed by a few bullets? Shield dropships can be killed with a MLT sniper in a few shots, with a glitch like that, a heavy suit is more of a vehicle than some shield dropships.
