It tears shield and low hp suits to shreads up close. Even tried the GLU again and its range is phenomenal (at least compared to the ACR I'm used to), took a proto Cal scout down to armor in 3-4 shots at like 60m iirc. I 4-shot a min scout trying to knife me up close too. Another suggestion would be the bolt pistol. I've never had trouble with hit detection beyond my own poor aiming. Plus, hopefully it gets a good buff in Delta.

Unless the heavy engages them outside the HMG optimal range -- which is no different from today. Otherwise they'll die in a half second of HMG fire. Basic sentinels (manned by people with even an adequate gun game) die to NK, Shotguns, and other HMGs. They don't die much to other weapons, and certainly not CQC 1v1...and before you ask, I basic BPO version (Dren Sentinel) every day. Sorry, brother, but I have to disagree with you on this point, but I do agree with you in one way, the CR is too dominant when compared to other ranged weapons, but not in regards to balance against HMG wielding sentinels with any semblance of gun game.

Bottom line: Even the basic HMG should destroy a scout with a CR....even if he gets the drop on you. You simply have too many DPS, too much resistance, and too many eHP to let him kill you. Equip that same heavy suit with the bHMG and it becomes even more dominant in this regard. So there's likely something else going on....and I suspect it's either how you've spent your SP, how you've equipped your suit, or your gun game which is leading to the observations you've made. What sentinel do you run? How do you have it equipped?

I use a combat rifle with my scout suit, and can take most people if my aim is good...other scouts using scrambler rifles i always lose to as scrambler rifles have a +20% damage to shields and =20% to armor. I'm a shield tanker with 78 armor dang it!!! Yeah the assault scouts are pretty deadly, most people can barely land a hit on them in cqc with regards to strafing speed. I am an Ewar scout as i don't belevee assault scouts should be used. Dampened cloaker, boundless CR and ishokune NK. My other suit is ishukone lol Ishokune Cloak Field Ishokune Drop Uplink Ishokune Assault SMG Ishokune Nova Knives I feel proud to have an ishokune scout XD scout ck.0 here!
