Just because a game is boring and poorly made, doesn't mean it won't be successful. Just look at mainstream shooters on console lol
That said, I liked Halo more so than Destiny. Campaign, anyways.
I might be successful. But the problem with CCP is that they NEVER bothered to advertise it. I think the most advertising they did was making Sony put a code for free **** in a bundle with a ps3 and uc3 (which was how I found it). I honestly think that if ccp advertised it and brought more people in to the game, they would've fixed all of the broken crap faster because there would have been more of a demand for it. (Trying to satisfy 100k, rather than like 5k)
I don't think it's that good, but the majority of cod and battlefield do, possibly because it's more than your standard "Level up and unlock **** and then use that to kill ****". Instead it's "Shoot monsters, collect money, Level up, buy the shite you unlocked and then shoot more monsters or people".

Even if Defiance is a bad game for open world(i always get bores of those) it has a better PvP lobby shooter.
The golden rule for all games these years and future years is expect that they will be Uber crap, then choose the less crapier and it will be satisfied to see that it wasn't so super crap as one though(it always work).
I said I was done with Dust about 3 times, but here I am, as addicted as ever. Isk pls?

That player count doesn't matter if the game is shite. The count is the result of bandwagon 60% bandwagon and 40% people who actually enjoyed it.
